The late 洪一峰 original singer for 思慕的人 was praising 齊秦 for singing the same song in pop style, and in return he was admired and addressed as teacher. Another song 舊情綿綿 sung in traditional style by 費玉清 was converted to modern pop by 齊秦. Singapore 22/8/2020.

In the historical development of Taiwanese ballads, Hong Yifeng was one of the few musicians who was both a singer and a creator at the same time, and he was also a creator with a sense of mission. His contribution to Taiwan Ballads mainly lies in song creation and singing teaching. Hong Yifeng not only contributed to Taiwanese songs creation but also devoted a lot of effort to singing teaching. In the 1960s, radio stations held popular singing competitions, and many singing classes sprang up like mushrooms after a rain. He was already famous, and his teaching footprints spread all over the music classrooms in northern, central, and southern Taiwan. Although he has not received singing training in the academic system, he has not forgotten to learn about himself after performing, reading books related to singing skills and music theory, and sorting out a set of his own singing teaching system. Hong Yifeng's students are most talked about by the rigorous teaching of his eldest son, Hong Ronghong. He not only discovered Hong Ronghong's musical talent, but also planned a singing training course for him, and invited a pianist to teach him to strengthen his basic skills. When he made a cameo appearance, he could be a blockbuster, laying the foundation for his future acting career. Hong Ronghong became popular at the age of 16 and 7, invisibly injecting a ray of life into the development of Taiwanese songs that later declined. This connection is also due to Hong Yifeng's supervision back then.

【思慕的人原來是因為這樣創作的9:11】 不知道為什麼洪一峰老師這裡 6:54 "快回來"我身邊 "快回來"這三個字要這樣唱？和原來唱法不一樣，好像用唸的一樣，好怪，是在搞笑嗎？ 我對齊秦 沒有甚麼意見，我對他的一個印象是一部電影阿里巴巴甚麼的，和楊林演的，他的歌我完全沒有印象。另外一個印象是他是橄欖樹齊豫的弟弟。 舊情綿綿可以看出小哥是很用心用感情在唱，所以聽過會有反應迴盪在內心，而齊秦的歌輕飄飄的，要說輕浮也可以，聽過了就忘了。 小哥是一個很特殊的人，我從他的為人處事學到一些，一些事是聽已經過世的高凌風高大哥高老師講小哥的故事，高大哥也是綜藝圈中認真說話時會說出一些很有人生哲學道理的人，和很多光耍嘴皮子沒有真才實學的藝人大不相同。 聽說小哥有一段時間因為多次提名一直沒辦法拿到金曲獎而很鬱卒，其實余天於大哥也沒有拿過，得不得獎真的很無奈。
