Exactly. Human beings can never be replaced by machines.

@@jessiewu5360 it's impossible, because there are so many different combinations of english sentences. The moment you change a word, the meaning of a sentence can change. To have employees manually translate sentence by sentence, for all languages in the world, would be wildly inefficient. So I guess the only option left was to write up a code that translates word by word. Better than nothing.

John Titor 他的字詞是可以選擇的 除非是手機版只會用出場率最高的字

ZW Wong Hi, at the beginning of your paragraph you said “the moment you change a word, the sentence change”,so how come the best way is to invent a code to “change word by word”? After all, machine can not replace human thoughts, and that’s the beauty of humanity.
From someone like me who was born and raised in Taiwan myself and moved to the states in 2005, I gotta say I am honestly impressed with the turn out of the interviews. Out of all of the trips I had made back home, I never truly ran into anyone who could converse fluently enough in English. Although it might be required from a work related aspect but still impressive to say the least! Great content by the way!
The interview with Lan and Jeffrey was spot on with what it really is like to work at a big company like Google. My hubby is a senior software engineer at eBay here in the Silicon Valley. He really has to do meetings either super early in the morning or late at night to meet in the middle with colleagues all over the world. It’s also true your recruiter and manager may all be in different countries. He also travels a lot to different eBay “hubs” for off site business trips. Though their work environment is awesome and cool...we are so fortunate he gets to work from home most of the time. I get to tag along on his work trips and the benefits are great! If only eBay was still in Taiwan...we’d def love to move there haha
This is what we called quality content, i really loved this series since the start, appreciate it, keep up the good work ray, looking forward for the next episode, love from Malaysia
