Kyoto Gion Festival: Yamahoko Procession

Gion Matsuri Nagatohoko Hoko Shimekuri (Cutting of the sacred straw rope)
This is said to be the best part of the Mae-matsuri Yamaboko procession,
When the children cut off the shimenawa, it releases the boundary of the sacred space and the floats proceed to the sacred space.
I have never seen such a spectacular event in such a beautiful place, and I think I may have failed to get a good spot!
The camera shake was terrible, but I was able to see something precious.
