Nope. It's the optical sensor that is missing over there. It is used to trigger device removal signal if the child somehow remove the watch from his/her wrist.

Hi, under the optical sensor the GPS antenne should be located. Some watches are also missing the optical sensor..

Hello Peter Nicolai. Of what i can see on your video you know what you are talking about. Can you please let me know on those Q50 watches after you inset an active sim card it does showing right away any signal indication on the watch screen or you have to setup the application first and then start showing the signal bars on the Q50 watch? I have try all the possible ways and still there is no communication between the mobile phone and the Q50 watch (Device is offline!) Thanks for your time. Regards.

Hi Peter I saw the video in question and realized that "there is" the possibility of opening the right clock? Or after it's open, you can not close it? I ask this because the one of my daughter to change the card one of the wires of the battery unsealed and I'm in doubt if it's going to be worth opening the watch and try to weld or buy another, can you give me a more informed opinion? You can buy these watches from 10 dollars to 200 dollars and all are made in Japan or around the same country the kicker is getting one that accually works

There are also "English LBS Version" versions available on AliExpress etc. the LBS indicates that it is an non GPS Version. My seller also sent me the LBS only version but offered the GPS one! Will contact Paypal for refund.

same happened to me. No gps, no wrist sensor, also no pedometer functionality

Can't say this applies to all these watches, as i have seen them with and without the arm sensor for example, but on my watch that had non functional GPS all i had to do was turn off LBS from SETracker and restart the watch. That made GPS work and when no GPS signal is found it still shows LBS positioning.
