Another superb review. I always learn something regardless of whether I'm interested in a specific plane or not. One of your reviews one of my first was the PA 140. That is my go to AC when I just want to fly and have fun. I bought it because of your review and I've gone on to buy a lot of the Aircraft you have reviewed for all of us. People while well meaning have no idea how much work it is and how expensive it is to do this. Thank you my friend for your dedication to the Flight Sim world. You have made it a better place and when I saw one of your reviews several years ago I had stopped flying for a couple years and you got me to get engaged again. You're the reason I bought XP 11. Now seeing the KSEA scenery in your review I'm now going to HAVE to buy it. :) Thanks Osama as always your friend.

@Q8Pilot4 жыл бұрын
@@markslandingsandaviationvi3123 it is by far the best flight yoke I used. The Saitek doesn't stand a chance against the honeycomb.
@markslandingsandaviationvi31234 жыл бұрын
Q8Pilot But what about the Warthog? What should i buy? I like flight helicopters like the Bell 407 so i guess the Warthog wins at this point but what is your thoughts? I see you have the honeycomb but also the Warthog. Do you use the Warthog only for helicopters or also for cessna 172s?

Just purchased this aircraft running version V3.2 PLEASE note that when the aircraft loads, the (Failures) menu in the cockpit is in an ON setting from startup IE it is highlighted and should be in an OFF greyed out setting. Also when loading a new aircraft or quitting X-Plane a software crash occurs. I hope this is of help.
@goosebumps1-1545 жыл бұрын
Why should it be off?
@leseur66755 жыл бұрын
If it's in an on position you have instrument failures at startup and takeoff IE altimeter will stop at about 900 feet. If that's ok with you then just leave it in the on setting.
@goosebumps1-1545 жыл бұрын
@@leseur6675 oh, I havent experienced anything like that... Ive only burned my engines a couple of times and fucked my speed indicator because I didnt have pito heat on. Is that just for you then or does anyone else have the same problem? Edit: Pitot heat*
@leseur66755 жыл бұрын
I thought that the problems I was having with this aircraft were bugs in the download, but now I am not sure, maybe it's one of my X-plane plugins. So I did a new install of X-Plane on a new drive with only this aircraft as an add on and it still would not even startup with out failures.This is the only aircraft I have had a bad time with and so the only way I can have a good flight is to make sure that the failures switch is in the Off setting. All the best LeSeur

hey q8 pilot love the video. Just wanted to ask you a question. I'm having a problem with xplane 11 rudder controls where my gear only turns fully to the right when i input full right rudder but when i input full left rudder it only slightly turns to the left. Any advice? (I've checked forums and found no useful answers and i'm using the siatek x56 rhino hotas)
@Q8Pilot6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! You might need to reverse the left rudder. It seems that your calibration is not correct. In the calibration screen, there is an option to reverse your rudder direction. Let me know how it goes.

Hello again Mister Q8Pilot, just to let you know I found the light I mentioned in my reaction from 9 hours ago. But.. watching your other video "First Look and Review" of the 110 I noticed something very strange. I wondered why there is not much good documentation on how the handle/fly this wonderful airplane (hat's why I didn't find that light I guess) but in this review video it showed 4 PDF-files in your documentation folder. I have only 3 and with less Kb's than what I can see on the view of your folder. The "big" manual (68.707Kb) I don't have ?!!. Your Normal Procedure folder = 24.445kb, mine = 6828kb. Your Emergency Proceduresfolder = 14.505kb, mine = 4256kb. Is your documentation the original that comes with V3 of the EMB110, or did you find those somewhere else? Luckely I have this/your video to help me along a bit, but it's far from easy this way. Can you inform me about this issue please so I can take furter steps if necessary. Thanks in advance from an older novice simmer from Holland :-) Best Regards, Eddy

You did not mention checking the hydraulics during the pre-start check. The switch may well have been on, and everything went well, but it was hidden by the yoke at that time! More importantly, you flew at 8000' and descended to 4000' incorrectly. Please read the charts (and I checked both Navigraph's Jeppesen plates and the FAA's charts on Skyvector). On that STAR, you need to be at 10000' at KRIEG, not below 12000' and 270KTS at HAWKZ, between 12000' and 15000' at PIKEZ at 250KTS, and so on. On the ILS 16L, you should leave PAINE at 5000', and don't descend to 4000' till after the IAF at KENMO. A large part of your flight was below the MOCA for the segment - very dangerous in the RW. This is only a sim, and is for fun, but Simbrief gave you a STAR which was the wrong one for this plane. The Olympia Two from BTG would be a better bet, but even this one has you at 10000'. Love your videos and reviews.
@Q8Pilot6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and for your comments. You are absolutely right! The hydraulics were on. As for the approach, as I indicated the flight was not perfect, the aim in this video was to show how the aircraft is operated. Simbrief gave the right info for the selected aircraft (737), but as the EMB 110 is not supported by default by simbrief, I just took the flight path for the purpose of the video, hence the incorrect altitudes ..etc. Again, thank you for taking the time to comment and I really appreciate your support.

Problems are not all solved. after flying EMB 110, XP11 hangs when trying to shut down the Sim. The same problem as before the update
@Q8Pilot6 жыл бұрын
Correct, that's why I said most of the issues are solved not all. The hanging issue is probably due to a lua script or some plugin conflict. I don't have this issue.

Hello Mister Q8, I bought this plane after watching your video (which by the way are among the best on simming. Always very good for learning all this stuff. Very clear and understandable explanations for beginners like me). To learn I follow this vid along with the plane on an other monitor. So far so good. On the second page of the checklist (the second item) you mention the "Ignition indicator light" is on. I'm unaible to find it, even in the manual. Maybe I just looked over it, but can you let me know where to find it because I want to do this the right way. Thanks in advance from Holland. Regards, Eddy (Flying Tiger)
