What final drive ratio did you go with in the 71 C10? I like the front suspension that is developed but retirement means a limit budget with slow savings. I am looking for my britches for the forgotten $2k in the pocket, still looking, still looking, still..... ASE Master Tech since 1978 (67 w/LS donor)

1967 front upper shock eye jam nut with the 750# spring, it is IMPOSSIBLE to tighten the jam nut with a wrench like the instruction sheet says will fit in the coils.

I have a 1978 c10. If purchasing the upper and lower tubular control arm. Can I install air bag suspension.

How about front end adjustments? Most use shims or eccentrics that move the upper cross shaft inboard/ outboard and induce bump steer!! Does your upper A arm allow those 4 bolts to shorten/ lengthen the A arm total overall length?? The FIRST thing I look at if I was to purchase a suspension kit is upper A arm design ! I won't buy it if it uses shims or uses eccentric cams! How about addressing bump steer, outer tie rod placement in conjunction with spindle and centerlink considerations. What caster angle are you shooting for? Any negative camber? Steering axis inclination (SAI)? What scrub radius is there with what diameter tire and wheel offset?

I have a 1987 R10(C10) short bed truck that I'm installing the QA1 coil over system on. I am ready to install the cross member for the torque arm but the instructions are a bit confusing here. It says for a short bed truck to mount it forward of the first bed frame rail (8 3/8" from the forward most c-notch bolt hole). If I measure from the edge of the first bolt to the edge of the cross member bracket, it ends up right against the cab mounts. Am I suppose to measure it differently, like center to center? Can't wait to finish the install, until now it has went really smoothly! Also have your front coil over set up I will be installing next. Thank you!

I love the look lowered, but don’t want mine lowered. Do you offer any upgrades at stock height or a 1-3” lift?

We do not offer any lift kits. Our Stocker Star shocks offer adjustability for your compression and rebound for better ride quality, but will retain the stock ride height. That might be a good option for you!

This specific one is not equipped with it yet. It only has the front system. His other square body has the torque arm setup!

Will the rear trailing arms and coil over full kit have any issues if my 9" rear has been narrowed to fit bigger wheels and another thing what spring rate do you recommend for a ls swap aluminum block 1972 c10

Hi there! It depends on how narrow your axle is. The coil-overs sit 5.5" outboard of the frame rails. If your tires are 5.5" or closer to the frame rails currently, then no the kit will not work. As for spring rate, if the truck is going to be a street truck, then the 750 lb. spring is what we would recommend.

100%. The Squarebody in this video had the front kit only for a while before we came out with the rear kit.

When are you guys coming out with a k member for the square body? Also need to be able to use your existing QA1 stuff you just bought. I ordered a complete kit last week from you guys and can't wait to get it installed!!

We've had a lot of requests for a K-Member for the c10s! So hopefully that's something we can offer in the future. If we were to design it, it would work with our existing parts for sure. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the suspension!

Seems like a good system. Unfortunately QA1 seems to be a bit of a joke these days. Most parts are not in stock and months away. Doesn’t say much for the leadership unfortunately.
