I was in Kabul at the time and heard Mehdi Hassan live at the Pakistan Embassy. I was only 12 at the time. Mehdi Hassan is my all time favorite singer and I try to sing many of his songs.

Overload of beauty of Khan sahab's voice. Most beautiful voice I have heard. A very anxious person will get calm listening to this voice. No voice to compare that I know. This gazhal is on loop since 2 hours and I can't get enough of it. Lot of singers tried this ghazal but nobody was even 10 percent of Khan sahab.
