I remember being SO confused why they kept bringing up Ted's date's weight because I never clocked him as overweight. Like he's just so normal looking and I was seriously so confused. It felt so random to me. Gotta love the 2000s I guess lmao. I've always been confused about Mel's comments to David at the art thing because I didn't realize until you pointed it out that she thought he was Brian's date! He didn't seem like the type to bring a date to events like this, so it just never crossed my mind. Although, we do see him do it a time or two in the future, like when he brings those leather men to Mel and Lindsey's party. Not necessarily dates, but he did bring strangers to an event. Like apparently it's something he does, according to instances like that and according to Mel, but it really just doesn't feel like him.

Right?? I was so confused by it too, the 2000s were wild 😂 I know! It so doesn’t seem like Brian would bring a date to something, you’re right there are times when he kinda has but it seems to be more about shock factor than actually bringing a date (leather guys, justin to the birth I guess?), and even so David seems like an odd choice for a shock factor thing? I guess they just needed David to somehow get the information so that’s what they went with 🤷‍♀️😂

Though Brian wouldn't have chosen to be circumsised either - probably decided for him by his parents as a baby same as Gus.

I kinda disagree with your thoughts on Lindsy and Brian because honestly. She does have a crush on Brian, and you see it a lot through the season because she says a comment that proves her obsession with Brian because shes said i thought that one day me and you will have this and asked if he thought that too and Brian saids no and shes disappointed.. she just didn't show it like micheal or was jealous the way micheal was
