Let me tell you how the name "Eritrea" came into existence. When the Axumite kingdom failed about 750 A.D. the Ethiopian government was moved to Roha ( Lalibela) - to Shoa - to Gonder till 1868 and back to Agow (Sokota) till 1871. Tigrai got Emperor Yohanes a Tigrian king for the first time in 1872 A.D. which is after more than 1000 years. However Eritrea was separated from Tigrai pemanently in 750 A.D. and was called "Midre Agazi" as it became free with its autonomous administration. The leaders were nominated democratically by the people and was ruled by traditional law (Higi Endaba) while Tigrai was ruled by the Ethiopian law. Later on , Eritrea was called "Midre Bahri" meaning the" land of the Sea etc. " .the name of the adjacent Sea was called "Eritrean Sea " therefore, as the state of Eritrean was synonymous with the Midre Bahri, the Italians brought nothing new but they called it through its specific and proper name I.e. " the State of Eritrea " This is because the Midre Bahri is a general name as there were a number of seas such as Mediterranean Sea , black sea, Caspian Sea etc. Hence, please be advised the name of Eritrea is also mentioned several times in the bible 3500 years ago including two times in the book of Enoch which is one of the oldest books. Don't try to make the name of Eritrea as an Issue. Eritrea and Ethiopia can coexist peacefully as they are separated without logerheading each other. Moreover, Eritrea and Tigrai can also live peacefully as neighbours without altercation with each other. Nobody is claiming Adua or Mekele to make part of Eritrea. Therefore, let's be contented with what we have. Please read the books of history in order to lead the people to the right direction. In order to have peace of mind , it is better to preach peace to others as well. God bless you abundantly

Arab countries, India Pakistan Bangladesh are more appropriate examples than Italian Americans or Irish Americans etc. Tigrayans and High-land Eritreans may have same language but have different nationalities.

You can not force people to unite unless they are willing.. it is obvious the presenter wants to force the unity “who believes the tigrayans should be the dominant force(?) “ but Eritreans do not wish to unite with you irrespective of the reasons..let things be and do not force your ideas.

What is the point of you bringing people who have the same opinion like you?!.. if you truly want the truth invite gusts with different stand.. ethnically Eritreans and Ethiopians “all Ethiopians” are the same language can never make a nation look at the Arabs Bangladesh India and Pakistan who ones upon a time were one country but no more just like Eritrea and Ethiopia.. by the way when you talk of history it is all Ethiopia not tigray region and Eritrea only
