Oh boy that was a long wait at the airport between flights! And nothing open...uuughh !! Loved the take off vision and sound !! Sunrise over or near the Nullarbor.... magnificent ! Shame about the rubbish left down the side of the seat. Did you mention it to the crew? I have found rubbish in various places near my seat a few times and I mention it to the crew and they usually write it up in the cabin log book to be cleaned at the next port of call. Otherwise it could be there for weeks! Qantas cabin crew are excellent and I am glad the food looked as good as it tasted! Pretty expensive flight when you can almost fly to Europe in economy ( in some cases return) for about the same when seats go on sale !! Well done as always and I look forward to next Thursday!!

The towel situation in the lounge was unacceptable, they have more than a days worth of towels delivered by the laundry service so even if no delivery the day prior there should have been enough to carry over. So nice they made Vegemite toast for the sick child, my now Miss Teen has requested (pre ordered) many times for a Vegemite sandwich when outbound from Australia and has always received it in BC on a number of Airlines not just Qantas so l am always impressed. Looked like a fabulous crew, the sunrise was totally worth the early morning flight👍

Wow it’s been exactly 3 years now since this flight! I remember this trip very well; landed on a Malaysia Airlines flight at 1am, and had to wait for an hour or two for Qantas to open their domestic check in. The FA on this flight was so nice, I remember him saying welcome home to me as we were approaching ADL and he was probably the first person ever to say that to me. It was also at that time (after living in ADL for 4.5 years) I realised ADL IS my home and hopefully will be for a very long time haha! Interesting that other airlines offer have Vegemite in stock for ex-Aussie flights! Thanks Vanessa!

That flight experience looks to have been done the way Qantas do this best, and the catering was very decent too. Much more typical of the airline than the BNE-ADL review you posted a few weeks back. Another reminder of just how important a part the cabin crew play in one`s overall enjoyment of a flight. Thanks for posting Jayden.

I remember full meals being served in economy when I was travelling around Australia in 2012 (I wasn't living in Australia at that time). Now, in economy, it's usually a snack box, a sandwich or something on that line. And yes, this was probably one of the best flights I took because of the crew! Even the crew in economy were nice, thanks Pierre, have a good weekend!

@@JaydenWong I think in the evenings on flights departing after 6pm and prior to 8pm that Qantas still offers a dinner service in economy. On my last flight in that time-frame SYD-OOL there were two meal choice. No salad included, but a small chocolate bar for dessert. You have a great weekend too Jayden.

Fantastic video OWF! Qantas once again look very impressive here. The lounge once again looks very good, shame about the towel issue though and agree with you 100% on that. Neih hou Jayden. Nice short haul vid as usual. Glad to see you were drinking sparkling water, so out of a bottle. Despite regulations on aircraft potable water worldwide, the standard across the world on galley water is abysmal. It is worth remembering that the boiling point of water at altitude is much lower than at ground level so not high enough to kill all microbes in your tea and coffee. And, of course, don't wash your hands in the toilet hand-basin...use hand sanitiser.

I like the old 737s as a plane but I really dislike the Qantas 737 business class. In my world they shouldn't be allowed to call it business. As a compromise they should ask for less FF points for the upgrade if it's on a 737 as opposed to an A330. Great review though.

I agree! Especially for transcontinental flight, imagine paying 20000 pts for an upgrade to the recliner seats when the other flight that leaves in half an hour later is an A330! That sucks even if you’re stuck in economy class. Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts!

Can I ask, the coat hook in the lavatory of the 747-400 Business Class , do you think it’s strong enough for me to hang a very heavy Prada double layered Winter 3/4 length OverCoat? It is also lined with exclusive detachable fur ruffle as well as some metal tassels, so this would add to the weight. But I’m concerned the coat hook wouldn’t accomodate the weight of the jacket. What do you think? Also the food on the flight, was there a choice and was there any champagne available such as Veuve or Billecart or even Krug? Finally we’re you addressed by name and offered an after dinner espresso or cognac?

never been to a Qantas 747 business lavatory so I don't know, but if you're on their A380, surely you can get change in the TV lounge room haha. I went dry for the morning, I love the sparkling juice that they serve in business class, that would suffice for me. I did get address by name by the gorgeous Perth based crew!

i was more tired than pissed haha, I flew from hong Kong to Malaysia and then Perth before this very flight to Adelaide. And 2 days before that, I flew from Canada to China and then I took a coach to Hong Kong 😂 I travel mainly for leisure, if it's to Australia, then it's because I'm going back for uni! yep absolutely! I paid $900 too but that got me from Hk to Perth in business class. If it was just the domestic sector I would’ve walked to Adelaide. Thanks for watching!

Nice Vlog Qantas & Junkstar i never fly them now you know they had a direct flight Bris /Manila every Thursday & back direct Man/Bri on Monday the flight was always at least 95% full they cut that out You have to fly down to Syd now They should ne called Sydney airline I like the most direct route I dont mind paying a bit more I just dont like wasting my time at Airports & in the air Look forward to your Thursday Vlog Cheers

4 years too late but, meh. normalise being fussy in business class i say. of course it's not a big deal if there's some rubbish stuffed down the side of the seat, but it's the principle of the thing. it is such a massive step up in price to fly domestic business and its barely arguable that its worth it at the best of times, but if they can't even be bothered cleaning it properly, its a supreme pisstake. for the price, they should bloody well clean the seats then check and triple check. it's just classic qantas to not give a shit; BA is the same. it's ingrained in their culture, a hangover from the days when it was 100% govt owned. just give us your money, take what you're given and bugger off is their attitude. getting sick of it. . .

Good point, I think I might’ve said it because I didn’t want hate comments but we deserve to be fussy about certain things being done right if we are in premium cabins! Or even in economy if they are premium airlines
