Wow! The landing looked like you were coming in hard but then all of a sudden it's soft! Unbelievable! ;D

The tower cleared the aircraft to roll through and vacate the runway at the end - less taxi time to the gate. Always a treat when you get that approval. There obviously wasn't any aircraft's on final nor holding short for departure. Nice video!

I guess there's less engine and brake wear too?
@shlinks88676 жыл бұрын
It certainly can, not the primary reason in this case. It's more of a 'commercial efficiency' aspect - taxiing to the parking bay quicker and cutting the engines (fuel saving). Engine reverses is the divergent of air forward than rearwards in a high-bypass ratio jet engine. This leads to efficient declaration of the aircraft and less wear on the brakes, regardless if you role through to end of the runway or have to vacate the runway quickly. Do you have any further videos coming up? Looking forward to checking them out. The footage is excellent quality - best 60FPS content of come across.

I totally agree, had the aircraft vacated earlier the taxi time to the gate would have been much much longer, given the location of the Qantas domestic terminal. Some precious time saved here!

Nice video mate! Amazing camera work. I'll probably sit in this same seat on my upcoming Virgin Australia flights.

Nice quality! I believe 1080p60 is a must for aviation videos.

Hi mate, thanks. I prefer the smoother footage of 60fps and usually select that option as my camera also records in 4K but it's limited to 30fps.

Smart choice, respect!

I agree. 60fps looks a lot smoother!

No thrust reverser open!

Reverse thrust was used I believe - you can see the side of the engine open up just after landing.

Yeah I think it looks quite good. I look forward to seeing it on the 747s. :)
@747kp76 жыл бұрын
Nah the A320 is better than the 737 anyway.
@PaulStewartAviation6 жыл бұрын
I have a soft spot for the 737s. :) Also, flying in an A320 in Australia means you're probably flying with Jetstar...
