Qantas Business Class Melbourne to Sydney 737 MEL - SYD

I took this flight some time back but due to filming commitments, full time work and other extra curricular activities, I just didn't have the resource to edit.
However, I am now back on deck and will be posting weekly videos again.
This was a bog standard Qantas Business Class flight from Melbourne to Sydney on their 737. I've taken the route many times (dare I say it, hundreds?) and always impressed by what the cabin crew can do in such a short space of time.
I start the journey off with a quick visit to the Qantas Business Class Lounge. Located in Terminal 1, this is a great space to get work done, relax, feed up and fuel up.
Sadly, the miso noodle I ordered was not suitable for my palette. I didn't finish the bowl as I found it way TOO salty. Which is saying something as I salt my bacon!
At least the meal on the flight well and truly made up for it!

Oh my getting the bag under the seat, I have sorta mastered it now haha. I dont know whats going on with the GoPro, I use an 8 and its the backbone of my walking shots, I know Ryan uses an 10 and his shots are fine. Maybe its something to do with a setting you may of messed, who knows. I was looking at upgrading to the 10 but who knows now. That meal looks amazing, Qantas smash VA out the park there! Speaking of VA looking forward to that video coming out, dead keen for it! Thanks the shoutout aswell, nice video :)

Yeah i have absolutely NO idea where I've stuffed up with the settings. Shrug. Wonder if it has anything to do with the HIGH stabilisation I have ti set to? Maybe I should try changing it to standard so it could possibly handle the low light indoor situations better? Yeah, you cannot fauly QF for the onboard meal. Whilst i love the Va offering, QF takes it to the next level. Yes, the VA MEL - ADL flight will be up very soon! I'll dedicate it to you.

The lounge looks seriously good! I apologise for my poor camera skills. Shrug, I don't know what setting I used on the GoPro and it just looks terrible. Come back to MEL!

@@TimEatsandTravels Air Canada used to have regular non-stop flights from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane to Vancouver. Now, Sydney has returned, Brisbane starts 1 July but no sign of Melbourne ... yet. Perhaps in the Australian spring!

I enjoy the antique charm of Tullamarine Airport. If I ever get back to the UK, I would like to tour Croydon Airport, I believe some of it is now open to the public. Thank you for the video!

I loved love LOVE the QF business lounge at MEL. That view alone is worth the visit. That chicken miso broth looks good, how did it taste? I must admit, I've never had a shitty meal in QF JCL so yours looked on point. Its always saucy and so flavourful! Suppose its to make up for our numb tastebuds.

Sadly that miso noodle soup was too salty. I actually left half the bowl. Which is saying something as I always finish everything I order. Did you notice who I was chatting to on my mobile whilst in mid-flight? hehe ;-)

Thanks for the amazing video mate. Pls help me with one query. I am traveling with my family of 3 (30kg*4 bags) so can we do combined luggage check in of 120kg at kiosk or it will take 1 passenger (40kg) at a time.

That's actually a very good question! The last time I travelled inter ationally the check in staff checked us both us along with all our luggage. However, domestically, if you want to do consolidated checking, if you have status or flying a premium cabin then I suggest you utilise the business checkin counter.

This would be my connection leg. The first leg is International. So do we also be checked in by Qantas staff without weighing the bags !

Flew AA first from Chicago to Boston and got only cookies and snack bars🤡 Qantas is really, really good

I feel you! The last time i flew "first class" domestic was with AA on multiple sectors (LAX - LAS, LAS - SFO) and only got pretzels and a drink. Albeit these were exceptionally short sectors.

These are the standard QF 737 business seats and whilst not comparable with some other airlines, they're still pretty comfy for any sub 4hr flights. If you're lucky enough to fly on their A330, now THAT is business class elevated.
