Qantas Transfer Bus - QF Domestic T3 to International T1 - Sydney

I recently took a Qantas flight from Brisbane to Auckland via Sydney, this video shows how easy it was to transfer between the (Qantas dedicated) T3 domestic and T1 international terminals without using the T-Bus or train...only for Qantas passengers though!

thanks mate. Thank goodness you make this video, I wasn't sure where to look for this info. I am flying from Melbourne to Jakarta, transit in Sydney all Qantas flight under 1 booking. I hope this service T3 domestic to T1 international will still be available when we get there. Otherwise I'd imagine my travel plan with 2 young children would be a mess with 1.5 hours transit time. wish me luck clearing immigration on-time

Thanks! yes you'll need to clear immigration, then head to the Qantas domestic (3:45) transfer (signposted) but if any other airline, use the T-Bus or train.

Hi there. I have a 2-hour layover at Sydney Airport before catching an international flight. I am flying with Qantas on both flights. Coming in from the Domestic and to the International terminal plus the security checks after the bus ride, will the 2-hr window be sufficient for me to catch my next flight?

Should be ok, double check that your bags will be transferred to the next flight, all you need to do is scan your international ticket to get on the bus and get through x-ray etc at the other end. All up it'll probably take no more than 45-60 min from getting off the domestic and into the international terminal.

G'day, I did Brisbane to Auckland via Sydney on one Qantas ticket / two flights. Got 2 boarding passes in Brisbane. Baggage was transferred automatically from the Brisbane flight to the Auckland flight....so just had to walk from the arrival gate to gate 15 to catch the bus.

Jetstar operates from a separate terminal T2, so QF to QF only

No, this service is only for people who are catching a Qantas flight. You will need to take the T-Bus from outside of Terminal 2 if you're catching a JetStar flight.

Cheers! Na...you need a Qantas international boarding pass to get on their bus at the domestic terminal. Train or the normal terminal transfer bus outside will work.

I think you need at least 2 hours Intl connecting flight for onboard, and 3 hours for inboard, to anticipate the queue when your get off the plane, the queue in the immigration and custom. Imagine if its fully booked flight. Mine is 3 hours each. The arrival time you saw on your ticket is when the plane touch down the ground not when you get off. Hope this helps
