Qantaslink Boeing 717 landing in Launceston

I've done SYD - LST in the 717! Took my wife there some years ago. I love how you come in over the farms, then they chuck a decending u-turn & you keep coming in over farms, can't see the airport ahead (especially if you're sitting on the right hand side) & then suddenly you're over the threshhold & touching down! It was quite gusty on my visit & we did a little bounce on the back wheels before he got the nose gear on the ground. Great flight! Great video!

They fly over my house on finals and always run out to check it out. I’m sure the A220 will be a lot quieter in many ways. Launceston airport is such a magical place. Thanks for the great video Paul!
