Always a very exciting time coming back home over the city. When I see that wonderful landscape I think, home again ☺️. Always can pick out the streets and buildings that I know. I’m South Aussie by birth and will always be a South Aussie forever. No matter where I go in the world, SA will always be my home 😌. Luv my home, it’s the best place in the world, not that I’m biased or anything haha 🤣. Great video mate! Enjoyed every moment of it. This one will be going in my favourites and for that I thank you!

It seems to me Adelaide is 10 times bigger today as when our family grew up thier from 69 to 1975,,Went to Enfield high school near Jepps cross..How I missed those days sitting in a circaul on the Oval near the school with all our friends ,then back to smelly dirty London.

SyRo Swirlz Yea I know. The stadium is mostly used for cricket . The ground was established in 1871 mainly for cricket . In 1877 the first australian rules football match took place on the ground . But today it is using for many other sports as you mentioned above .

Adelaide seems like an odd choice for an international airline to fly into.

our airport continues to win awards every year. Our airport is about to hold the worlds biggest aviation forum in the world later this year and we have quite a few international airlines making multiple flights into Adelaide each day with some of the worlds most newest and tech advanced aircraft. So What makes you surprised about that?

I believe Qatar Airlines does a direct Dubai to Adelaide Service and I know QANTAS returns the favour. We also have direct flights from Adelaide to parts of Asia like Singapore and Hong Kong. Soon, QANTAS is hoping to deliver a direct Adelaide to London service. We never used to be an international airport but over the last 25 or so years, that’s changed.

@@iamasmurf1122 Well yes, I guess the bean counters at Qatar Airways have assessed that it's a profitable route. The reason I commented is that Adelaide being so much smaller than other mainland state capitals, and therefore not as much tourism dollars or commerce compared to other major Australian cities. I'm even more surprised they fly to Canberra.
