That was a butter landing! Qatar served an excellent economy class service on this flight, along with their nice hard product on the A350-1000, all had made the flight almost perfect

Qatar airways is wonderful. Flight crews are very courteous, friendly and skilled. The plane is beautiful too. We flew from Philadelphia to Doha to Dhaka. It was a pleasant experience. Doha airport was marvelous. We had a great experience. I strongly recommend Qatar Airways to everyone who want to have a great and unforgotable moment in their flights. I say again, beautiful, gorgeous and excellent. Keep it on. Thank you so much. I am in love with Qatar Airways.

Service standards in economy are not the same as in 2005. They used to give you cheese and crackers plus a mini mars bar including the dessert. The crew were also very professional, since at that time they poached cabin crew from big carriers with lots of experience. Grew too fast since then to remain the same standard. Im more impressed with BA and Air France economy class. SQ have also gone drabin economy

I agree. I was shocked by that vegetarian snack! I never got that from QR, ever! Wretched snack that I would get on European transatlantic flights. Probably not good for your health. I would rather get a Nature Valley granola bar or a yogurt.

Last time I travelled from Doha to London 25 July 2022. You are eating the same food Beef with mash potatoes which I ate. And the chicken snack on 21.00. Doha airport back in the 80's used to have a really smelly toilet with no fresh water. But things were super easy during those times like person could easily smuggle cheap large bars of gold in and out of the country. No problem

I don't want to put water into your wine but as a frequent Qatar Airways flyer ( from 2006 on ) i was pretty disapointed this year around new year while flying from Ber to Mel via Doha. There was no shopping catalogue ( Extravaganza ) in the seat. No menu card as always. No fragance and no moisture cream in the toilet. Like before. The crews seemed to be overworked and the service was chaotic. There weren't enough meals in the cart so that the crew member had to drive back to the kitchen. The beer was warm and the food cold. On top they had no baby basinet in for the Swedish parents behind the eco wall to hang in. The mother had to hold her newborn daughter for the whole time during our flight from Doha to Sydney. That wasn't really charming. The purser said they havn't seen a baby on the passenger list so they didn't store one to save weight. I don't know what to think about this but for a 5 Star airline this isnt really good. Award winning ? No. In my mind Qatar rested a bit on it's glory. Emirates and Air France have improved their business so it's time to try them next time.

Bus gates in the basement! I never knew! I guess I've been lucky. All my flights through Doha, I never had to take an escalator to the basement to board a bus to get to my aircraft. Anyway, remember my first flights on QR through the old terminal, which I barely noticed because it was through security, up an escalator, and a few quick steps in just a few minutes to board a connecting flight (absolutely no lolligagging time at all!)
