Qatar Airways Doha Stopover Program

I had heard of the mysterious stopover programs but this was my first time attempting one. It can be complicated to figure out and ultimately our time was very short in Doha, but if you want to get a taste of a city without paying multiple one-way tickets, this is the way to go! We started in Indianapolis, IN to our final destination of Cairo, Egypt through Qatar Airways with an intentional 36 hour stop in Doha. If you can think of no other reason to go to Doha, the airport alone is worth it. This year in 2024, it is the #1 airport in the world. We were so impressed with how clean and kind the city was and would have loved to spend more time there. Spoiler for the next video: the Cairo airport was a shock after leaving Doha!

at what point did you get to book your seats for the plane? its not giving me the option and im wonder if they will be really expensive when i do

@@evilcow09 I can’t remember, but typically Hannah and I book all flights as the cheapest possible options, regardless if we can sit together or not. So I would guess we probably waited until the 24 hours where they assign you a seat at check-in if you didn’t buy a seat ahead of time. NOW, I recently flew British Airways with my boyfriend who wanted to sit together and we did buy our seats (still picking the cheapest options, but there weren’t free ones until 24 hours to check-in) to ensure we would get seats together. Look for the fine print and call if you need to! Their customer service was pretty good when I needed stopover help!
