@@liftoffandtravel I have flown KL to Doha and on to US before. That was in economy. Economy was ok, but I am really looking forward to the Qsuites as Doha to Miami is 16 hours. I love the airport in Doha.

Thanks for the review. We’re flying from BHX on QR in a few weeks time so great to see the Clubrooms and the In-flight service. We last flew them from BHX in 2018 and thought they were great.

Your enthusiasm is infectious. Will be on this route sometime soon. I used to be Gold and using this route regularly to visit family in England but like you say COVID robbed us of this handy airport on Qatar for many years (and I lost my Gold status sad face)

@@liftoffandtravel Unfortunately circumstances changed so unlikely to be able to build up to Gold (I had it in Etihad and lost that also) as flying much less often. I have been saving your lounge video to watch today Alex, thank you! (I have a long connection and am looking forward to a shower and swanning around The Orchard perhaps, let us see if it is like Changi...)

I have flown with them they upgraded me and my mom from economy to business from Boston to Doha in december 2016 I was traveling to Bangladesh

Having gone back to this product it's nice to see the cabin again. Not bad on a shorter flight ✈️ not sure how we'd feel about it say Doha to Sydney 🇦🇺

i just got back from a 9hr flight and i can gladly say that regarding the old age of the B787, Qatar still delivers one of the top business class experiences in the airline agency.

Whilst its not their Q-Suite, it looks like a good product, especially if you weren't flying on one of their premium routes (like LHR or CDG or even SYD). Enjoyed the video Alex!

Hi Alex, loved your video - thank you very much for sharing it. I've only flown Qatar Q-suites once but it's an experience I will never forget. Although not q-suites, this hard product looks amazing as well and is still so much better than the KLM 772/773 product I usually fly. Great video, very detailed, loved it! If I can make a suggestion; for me personally it would really help if you included subtitles in your videos as I'm not a native speaker. Hope to see your next video soon!

It's a difficult question. We flew in economy from Birmingham to Malaysia and felt exhausted after. Hard to sleep but possible. Depends on the price of the upgrade. If you are flying in Business personally I prefer a long and shorter flight for example via Hong Kong.

Does the 787-8 have onboard wifi?

Just had a quick check and according to Qatars website it's only available on: 787-9, A350 and 777. So apparently not the A380 either but then again Qatar is determined to get rid of these long term

Thanks for the feedback. Level of Volumn, type of music? Or just a distraction in general? We've seen other videos where there is no music and it seems odd like you are waiting for something to happen.

@@liftoffandtravel I felt it was distracting in general. Maybe it works for long parts without speech but I was struggling to figure out what you were saying sometimes because of it.
