My respect to Qatar and people. When I came to live in the west which was about 40 years ago the first thing I noticed was the amount of divorces. After I made friends I found most people living in common law relationships. And like marriage was out the door. Now the lgbt thing suddenly appeared and the government went about to change the laws to have lgbt marriages. It was so strange. Why would Allah give you a place in Jannah just for reciting? You think Islam means just recite? Do you realise the purpose of prayer? Do you think Allah would rather you pray from your heart and say what is in yoru heart or would Allah reward you with Jannah just for reciting? This is why hadiths make no sense. They have been invented to make people stop using their reason. Even hadiths like this which seem nice, when you actually think about it, make no sense whatsoever. This is why I follow Quran alone. It is only the Quran that leaves me in awe of its wisdom with every verse I read. The closer I get to the Quran, the more I realise how nonsensical the hadiths are.

You want to know the reasons why, the closest we can get to understanding is within the scholarly discourses. You should try to learn those. It is not our place to dismiss hadith and sunnah because even in Quran, the traditions and hikmah of Muhammad (peace be upon him) is mentioned as guidance. Refer also Muhammad's last sermon (peace be upon him), "I leave with you two which if followed, you will not be misguided until the day of qiyamah: the Quran and the Sunnah." (paraphrased).
