It's realistic. Ifrah had in past episodes admitted to have fallen in love with Rashid and dialogue about not being able to look away from love once it has been put in hearts by God suggests there may be a chance it remains. That Rashid is hoping Ifrah still loves him is an indication of his love for her. Love is selfless, and the fact that he was willing to give her up for the sake of her happiness despite him wishing she loved him points to the possibility that he genuinely does care for her and may have changed. But nature is hard to change and the test of time and his actions, not mere words, will determine if he's for real or if its just yet another temporary phase of him attempting to alleviate his guilt. Meanwhile Ifrah hasnt left him, so she may (or may not, depending on his level of commitment) soften eventually though it is likely she sticks with him so he is reminded of his guilt. Even if she does love him, he is responsible for the death of his sister, who can never return no matter what he does). He may not have intended to kill her sister but he consciously tortured her, insulted her, and made her life living hell. Death was Samra's freedom from that hell. Rashid is living the hell he gave and he deserves it. Ifrah has Sana to love, her father is happily married and she has some peace of mind and justice served. Jawad's inability to stand up for her makes him worse than Rashid in that he promised Ifra love and broke it off. Rashid had married both women in arranged marriages---he didnt promise either love and made that clear from the beginning. That brings the matter to the other point. The parents should not have pushed Samra and Rashid into marriage and since Samra and Rashid were both adults with brains, they should both have resisted--that was an obvious recipe for disaster. I understand Ifrah's intention of marriage to Rashid had to do with Sana and putting everyone in line, which she did. But what was Samra thinking? Was she strong for taking the beatings or weak for not standing up for herself? That contrast between Ifrah and Samra is what viewers should learn from. Women and humans in general need to stand up for themselves because no one else will and they themselves will be responsible for the consequences. Khuda ki laati or justice ke bawajood, Samra and everyones life was damaged beyond repair. Samra and Jawad's obedience and silence not only ruined their own lives, it contributed to bringing down the lives of those around them as well. No wonder they say "the silence of the good people is more dangerous than the brutality of the bad people".
