I think this gotta be one of the few years where a lot of legacy defining things will happen for qbs from here on out: Mahomes, Lamar, josh Allen ofc being the big three choices, but stafford, jayden daniels, and even jared goff will be pretty career defining if they win. Jalen hurts and cj stroud are the main ones where its like oh well, its great for them, but ik their place and standard in the league wont change much, because we know who they are, and its just their first in a relatively young but slightly experienced career for them - so prove it to me a bit more you can continue performing like this consistently. To me though, its gotta be pat mahomes with the most legacy on the line. If he wins, hes done something no other qb has done before. If he loses, it could be to the point where people will start having conversations whether he is #1 anymore and if hes fallen. Its a climactic legacy defining playoffs for him for aome reason.
