This video just blew my mind and scared me at the exact same time! Now I will have to watch the video again and follow along in QuickBooks Online to see if Journal Entries work the same way too! I will update my comment with my findings. Gotta say, I love a good mind twister like this!

It appears that QuickBooks Online is not affected by the order of items in Journal Entries the same way as QuickBooks Desktop. I ran the same test using A/R and Sales and also added a Source Memo only in the top line. Both the cash basis and accrual basis reporting showed up the same and the memo did not populate the other empty memo fields. I believe this has to do with the ability to drag and drop the different line items and the ability to use multiple A/P and A/R items in a single journal entry. Again, this was a great video Hector!

Video was very informative and I will need to watch again. I have stayed away from hitting AR/AP using JE's, but now I may look a little further into it. Just not a fan of using sub-ledges with JE's. I am using QB Desktop. Where can I go to see a calendar of your webinars?
