Oh hey I’m Thai and this dish makes me think of some (mutated) Thai style pasta dishes like how some would season tomato sauce pasta with a bit of sugar or oyster sauce(?), or like ‘Pad Keemaw’ spicy pasta which is stirred fried pasta with Thai herbs and chili 🌶️ We even, at one point, invented ‘American fried rice’ that Americans have no clue of, which is kinda like fried rice mainly seasoned with ketchup and black raisins(?) Usually served with a sunny side up egg, fried sausages or fried chicken 🍗 (I know it sounds sus but if done right it’s good!)
