Hi Dave! Thanks for all the great videos, you were very helpful in me getting my General license. I'm looking at getting a QCX, would you recommend 20 or 40m? Thanks again!

I have been waiting for several years for the QSX SSB kit. I built the PA to save time but Hans never finished designing the rig. I gave up and bought an FT-891 instead. A lot more hams want a QSX than a QCX. I already have a first gen QCX 40 M & it works fine but I don't like CW.

Nice. I'm awaiting on my mini and have built the larger qcx+ 40m. What brand of key is that again that you mention toward the end?
@davecasler4 жыл бұрын
The key is the MFJ-566M.

Great series Dave. Would you be able to demystify the Tayloe detector and possibly the class E amplifier in this transceiver? Howard M0YZT

Good ideas. I'll see what I can do.

This thing is fooking complicated. Why Not make it larger but easier to put together?
@davecasler4 жыл бұрын
There indeed is a larger version called the QCX+. Check it out!
