I worked at Chipotle from 2019 to 2020. I compared item to item vs Qdoba. The only thing that Qdoba does better is their queso. Chipotle used to have a "yellow" queso and they changed to the "white" that they do now around the time that I left. Their "white" queso is much better than their old "yellow," and it's almost as good as Qdobas. Qdoba's guac is trash, I mean worse than most grocery store brands, and so are their chips. Their meats were always dry whenever I've had them, whereas Chipotle usually has moist meats (although their steak products always tend to be dry.) Pretty much the ONLY reason I've gone to Qdoba over the last few years is to get their Queso for a party that I throw or go to. I will definitely be giving this a try, even without a party being involved. Thanx!

Must be a location thing. I like everything better at Qdoba than chipotle, except the chips. The chipotle I worked at was very good, but I just prefer the options at qdoba and I never had an issue with dry meat there

I just found out they are opening one on UIUC's campus - I don't go to campus often since I work remotely, but I used to enjoy Qdoba back in the day in other places I have lived. YAY Queso!

I’m a spice pansy so I will not be trying this. But pro tip, next time you try the cheese crusted quesadilla, ask for it grilled twice or well done. Takes it to that next level.
