Baladna Farm | Baladna Food Industries | Baladna Park, Alkhor, Qatar | First Dairy Farm of Qatar

Baladna Farm is located in Alkhor, 60 Kilometres North of Doha and covers an area of 2.6 million square metres.
Yesterday, we visited Baladna Park and had a great fun. We spent 6 hours there and get a great fun.
Now a days, the weather is really awesome for outdoor activities. You must have to visit this place, if you are here in Qatar.
Baladna Park is a great attractive place for kids. There are so many activity sections, e.g
Kids playground, Adventure Land, Animal Zone , Reptile cave, Bungee Trampoline, Zip line , Wall climbing, Bumper boats, Pony riding, Bicycle tours, Green House, Car racing, Mini Land Rover, Food area etc
Another, attractive area is Baladna Farm.
At Baladna,they use one of the World's most advanced milking rotaries. The on-site rotary milking parlor takes up to 100 cows per rotation and complete a full cycle every 8-10 minutes.
Three times a day , Baladna cows are led to the rotary milking parlor. The milking machines are not only automatic but it also cleans itself automatically.
Baladna Farm started off producing only fresh milk and in 2018 it expended it's operations to include production of Laban, Yogurt, cheese, flavoured milk and a variety of desserts.
All the cows in the Baladna Farm are Holstein cows , a breed that originated in the Friesland province of Northern Holland and Germany. Holstein cows are famous for being the highest producing dairy animals in the world. They are easily recognised by their patchy black and white colours and are thinner than most other types of cattle. An adult cow will weigh between 400-500 kg and produces 30-40 litres of milk per day.
