I still come back to watch this, a belta performance. In the north of the UK this is still widely considered one of the best rave anthems of all time. How someone creates a tune like this in 1994 is beyond me, all I can say is the 90's were fucking amazing.

Saw QFX many times but the best by far was at the last ever night at The Venue in Spennymoor only a few days before a rival club burned it down because it was becoming too popular. They were amazing and danced as well as they ever did despite the searing heat inside the club which was so full they had to close the doors before every one who was queuing to get into the club could do so. I was one of the last people in. Very lucky indeed.

The atmosphere was incredible and Iv always thought that in many ways it was the perfect night to end the era of the Venue as otherwise, it may have been too hard to get in after that night due to how popular it had become. I do miss it so much though.

I’d love to go back to that era and show my kids and younger sisters how it was back in my day.. Where we lived for weekends to just bounce and pop a wee dove or two and love everyone in the place and fuckn bounce some more!
