Thank you very much for this tutorial, it helped me a lot! But don't you just calculate the volume under the four points instead of the entire excavation as a rectangle or truncated pyramid in 3D?

How can we impliment cut and fill analysis and get the highlighted areas that are needed to be cut out and the one needed to be filled?? Thank you.
