Hi there! Its all awesome but i have a question. If I may. When i change the symbols to graduated, instead of showing columns, it shows values. and i cant select anything. im using QGIS3. thanks

Can you please expound on "instead of showing columns, it shows values"? A couple things that might help are to make sure the desired Method (i.e.-size, color) and Mode (i.e.-Natural Breaks, etc.) are chosen. Which QGIS3 version? I just tried with 3.8 and everything worked.

Under Value, in Graduated, why are all the fields in my excel file for categories for basing the size or color on not available? For example, I want to select Transaction Size but it doesn't show up? Thanks.

The only thing I can think of is if the numbers data is not formatted correctly. For example - formatted as string/text instead of integer.

I can´t correct the double commas problem in my csv file

Try to fix in Excel or similar, then convert back to csv. If there is an existing comma in the data, try to remove with "text to columns". Also check the data types and ensure numbers have a number type and text has a text type. Please provide a small example and I'll try to help.

@@RyanNoonan Thanks for answering. For example, I'm using latitude and longitude from the excel tool geographic. It shows a number with commas. I tried to manually change it for dots but i cannot be done because 10,963889 is automaticaly converted to 10.963.889 as in 10 millions... so I deactivated in advanced tools from Excel the usage of . instead of , and indeed it changed to 10.963889 but then I created the csv file and it didn´t look like yours... and in qGIS it does not recognize the different columns, putting all the info in one only.

Make sure your csv data has all the elements needed such as location, latitude, longitude, and values for the weights and that the data is formatted correctly. Data files will automatically show the symbology that pertains to that file type, etc. and will not show the heatmap option if it is not applicable. Also, it is possible that different QGIS versions have different options but if you are using a recent version - it should work.
