The easiest way to build your EPT point clouds is with QGIS prior to version 3.26. Just drag and drop your point cloud into the QGIS main window, and the conversion starts.

Great. What about use potree desktop version 1.8 for open pont cloud like in video. Than use potreedesktop and make synerdgy wiith qgis. Plugin. That can be useful fo get 3d vectors from potree use measure tools and then write it to for example potgis. (potree Avaliable options wrtite 3d vectors to json file)
