One of the officer was my dad. He never died from the grenade. He is still alive living in Fresno. He told us about this story while we were little kids. He told us that she looked and smiled at him before pulling the grenade. He survived the grenade blast.

I called BS on this version. Obviously she's the sister so of course her side of the story will only make her brother look good. Plus, she's also speaking from a third person perspective so her side is just as flawed as the first version. She was not part of the issue. She only saw, know, and heard. She did not partake in the issue. Her version provided some more information, but that doesn't mean they are the truth. Her intention was to clear her brother's name, which she did poorly. Her story still didn't prove anything except provide a little different perspective, but it doesn't change the facts or outcome of anything. The facts remained: the disabled girl died and her brother died.

Regardless of what the truth really was, this was tragic all the way around especially for the 2 innocent men who had nothing to do with the situation. Both stories are their own perspective. Blia married Pov's wife just like the sister said. There was no other wife. He and his wife (Pov's wife) visit our family on special occasions. So, afterall it was perhaps 6 lives that were taken then...including the unborn baby of Me. I agree that the innocent lives were just the 2 polices and Me unborn child. However, with this sister new addition to the first story add more speculation to why Blia finally showed up after his friends Pao deceased and ask Pao's father for forgiveness and to married his son's wife, in which, Pao's wife easily agreed to that marriage too. Those two probably had a love secret story of their own. I can say theyre all not innocent...maybe not a triangle love relationships but quadruple relationship of deceivement, secrets, power, gender inequalities, excuses and whatnot that the end result sadly ended with death.
