4 years ago when downloading vocaloid music I 'accidentally' downloaded this too. I listened to the song all day. The only problem was, there was no song title or artist name whatsoever. I looked around the internet everywhere to figure out what it was called. No luck. After a while I lost my phone that contained the song. And now, 4 years later. ill be honest i know absolutely nothing about this song, where its from, etc. but for some reason it makes me feel really nostalgic and like? i just feel the need to describe this because its giving me flashbacks to this beautiful scenery in a dream i had. i can imagine this large anime-style school, sort of preppy and rich with large classrooms and benches in the halls, etc. with usually white blue and gray school colors flooding the school, but the sun is setting on the side of the building showing a beautiful orange-red array of light across the entire halls. the usual cramped hallways are now free of all the students, empty and quiet aside from the cicedas buzzing outside as you walk along the windowside. you pass by the classrooms, peering inside the windows on the doors and walls showing into the classrooms, seeing absolutely nobody. you're alone. its only you left in the school, and summer break is beginning. you're a senior now, in a way. you reminisce on your days from when you were younger, running through the forest on days like these with your friends and getting scraped, your knees and elbows covered in bandaids in what you thought looked "cool". you think of the days when you'd sit in the living room cuddled up next to the couch as you and your family watched stupid comedic movies with jokes you never understood. and of the times you found things you loved and hated, and when you acted stupidly and brashly. you could look back on those moments now and learn, and grow from them and know how to be better than you were back then. you can now look forward, and you can remember this school and your friends, and you'll shed no more tears. you wipe away the tears you've cried at this point and smile. its kind of hard, since you're crying, but you force through it and slide open the door to the piano room. you shed your school blazer as you approach the piano, setting it on the ground and even taking off your shoes. this would be the last time for a while you'd get to play, so why not get comfortable? you sit on the piano stool, putting your hands and foot in position before playing. its beautiful, like a symphony long worked on and perfectly put together. some of your tears fall onto the piano keys, but you keep playing. you keep playing the same tune until your hands hurt. until you cant cry anymore, until the tears on your face have dried and until a new piece of your life begins. you play until the sun sets, and even then you sit and cry for a while longer before composing yourself and smiling as you pick up your shoes and put them in your bag. you walk in your socks until you reach your homeroom classroom from that year. the doors would be locked, so you open the window and hop out onto the soft grass and look around. there's a beautiful night sky, almost like its a painting above you. the moon stares down at you unmoving, and you stare back. goodnight.

While the normal version sounds happy and joyful, this version to me tells the sadder side to the war she sings about. That while they fought joyously for their country but they still lost so many people. To me this sounds like she is singing about the ones lost to the war, the ones that never made it back home. Still though I love this version and listen to it on repeat a lot. It's soothing and helps calm my mind.
