Hi guys. Hope you are all good. We have learned so much by just watching what you do. And as there is nowhere in this part of England for us to train 🥺 you guys are our main go to. Would like to join your membership but as I have said before our Japanese has a very long way to go. Any advice would be most appreciated 🙂 🙏 Take care. Stay safe 🙏 Kate and John.

I hear you. I am the same way. It is so far away from home and no parter, no sword but I am practicing every day whatever I can because this is the first time I ever found something I really enjoy myself. Keep it up guys!

Sorry your in the same boat, it's not cool! Did Judo and Karate when I was young, between 7 and 14 always had a passion to learn the way of the sword but circumstances and life got in the way. 50 years later and the right wife the dream is back on. I am lucky that my wife has taken an interest to so we can practice but she is recovering from a broken knee. Not practicing fell at work. Good luck to you and good training. You never know we my be very lucky one day and end up being taught by the Master or at least in his school. Take care. Stay safe 🙏 Kate and John.

By the way, their second ground is located in Kasukabe City, Saitama Prefecture, a local city famous for being the setting for the famous Japanese animation Crayon Shin-chan. It will take about an hour by train from central Tokyo.
Что это за искуство ? Кенджитсу ? Яйджитсу ? И в какой префектуре этому обучают ?

I am a passing outsider. But according to their website, the base is Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture, which is the hometown of Meister Seki. I couldn't find any mention of lecture fees. I think it takes about 2 hours by train from central Tokyo. By the way, the kanji character behind it says Kashima Daijingu. 鹿島大神宮…。 Located in Mito City, this shrine has a very long history. It seems that the god of martial arts is mainly enshrined.

The Dojo Of Seki Sensei seems to be an organization that inherits in a very pure form the philosophy and emotional education of the samurai of the Mito-Han, which was directly related to the famous Tokugawa family in the late Edo period. Mr. Kaichi, who seems to be Seki Sensei's beloved ,might be the first disciple, is not only a veteran aikido practitioner but also a stuntman specializing in Japanese sword fighting scenes in Japanese period dramas. No wonder Mr. Kaichi is a professional Tate-actor, who plays the role of a beaten man and passive aggressor, isn't he? I felt that he played an dark -gray and inconspicuous but very important role, and was a behind-the-scenes force to be reckoned with.

Mito City is also home to historical buildings and the vast gardens of the former domain kings. If you ever come to Japan for sightseeing, you might want to take the Joban Line express trains from Ueno Station in Tokyo, such as the Hitachi-Tokiwa and Tokiwa. Mito, to me, seems to be an overly clean city with little clutter, but as a tourist destination, it may be worth a visit.
