Ex3's is indeed a [wargrowlmon]. Ex4's is the one that isn't.

The rules are pretty clear, as long as it has the name of the monster in question even if there is "black" in front it is still considered a Wargrowlmon. You should read the rules on the evolution conditions x antibody. It will help you a lot in your combo.

​@@ArthurAlexDC Thats incorrect. The black box text has to contain "if name contains wargrowlmon" for it to be able to digivolve over blackwargrowlmon. and looking at the text for both wargrowlmon X from both from bt9 and ex8 the black box only says "wargrowlmon".

@@fakesru1234 No, the rules have been changed for a while, like the special evolution. They no longer specify each time that the name must be exact because it takes up too much space in the text! So they shortened it to "[Digivolve] [WarGrowlmon]: Cost 1" so the name must contain the word "WarGrowlmon" and this is the case for all X-antibody digimons.

@@ArthurAlexDC could you point me to where you saw that ruling? im looking for it but the official site hasnt said anything about the black box evo rules changing at all
