Dunno if it was intentional, but it was a nice touch having Arisu Endo give the mic to Maki Itoh. Both Arisu and Maki teamed up against Yuki Arai (and her trainer, Miu Watanabe) in her debut TJPW match.

Idol vs Idol, Red vs Blue, fired idol vs working idol, Itoh is more popular overseas and Arai is more popular in Japan. The storyline writes itself. Amazing match!

The Japanese think Maki is ugly and has a big head but we Americans intensely LOVE HER!!! She is an extremely beautiful girl and she is also extremely tough. She will always be the Commander in Chief of the American Itoh Respect Army!!! Maki is the cutest and most lovable little bad-ass on the planet no doubt about it. Maki Itoh should be my country's next President. I cannot wait to buy her merch!!!

伊藤麻希選手曰く荒井優希はめちゃくちゃ強いと言ってましたね、デビュー戦はお前は弱いだったけどそれだけ成長したんだろな。伊藤スペシャルは決まればほぼギブアップ取れるが1回目は耐えきってロープブレイクまで持って行ったのは凄いなとは思ったね。伊藤選手もショックだったのか5カウント過ぎても離さなかったしね。

Missed a great spot move. A blocked Finally by Itoh-chan to pull her finisher DDT then Arai-chan quickly recovered to pull Finally as both of them knocked out. Not a bad match either. As a starting title match, it's alright. Lots of room to improve on Arai-chan.
