Song’s name: Caffeine. About lemons. Song’s name: Lemon. NOT about lemons. Kenshi......

But Kenshi’s song レモン is about lemons. 😂 He’s just using the character of a lemon to describe the emotion. Though, I sure do love your joke. 😉
@thesmollestbean4 жыл бұрын
Kenshi's song is about lemons. The scent of lemons are used as a thing that reminds the person (in the song) to someone else in both songs. but in this case, the scent of lemon makes him remember someone else and that keeps him awake at night. soo its like he's on caffeine.

His name: In Chinese The song: In Japanese The Tittle: Caffeine The lyrics: About lemons Hotel? Trivago (?)

His name is in Japanese actually! Most names in Japanese use kanji (characters borrowed from Chinese). Kiiro Akiyama (秋山黄色) would be read quite different in Chinese (closer to Qiūshān Huángsè /Huángsè Qiūshān in western order) Can't tell you about the lemon/caffeine thing tho

About the meaning of “lemonade” and the title of the song being “Caffeine”. This song seems to be about struggling with mental illness - depression, anxiety, or suicidal tendencies. Lemonade is a metaphor. There are several ways to interpret it, from negative emotions to self-harm. While I was translating this song, I interpreted the title “Caffeine” as a wake up call for the singer. No longer wanting to be trapped by “lemonade” (past negativity), this song is “caffeine” (a wake up call). The lyrics spoke to me a lot! Kudos to Kiro Akiyama for an amazing song! [English Translation] Just how many times have I found myself cowering here I can't even remember, it's been so many times This suffocating scent trapped me in memories The contents of my heart surging down the drain I spilled the lemonade down the sink, and the next night I closed my eyes; and when I opened them All of a sudden, my face was on display all around These kinds of unfulfilled thoughts Are pouring out from the knob in the bathroom Still shouting out that at this point, I've gotten used to being alone Please hear out this last request of mine Just ten seconds of your time is enough for me, so tell me Just how many times have I found myself dying alone here I can't even remember, it's been so many times This suffocating scent too painful for me to bear The lights of my heart falling to the bottom of my pillow As innocently as children laughing forever I hid this incurable disease so deeply no one'd notice The strain within concealed by wrapping it in a package of joy That night where I should have poured the lemonade down the sink My eyes went cold from an ache that seemed to mock how empty I was In a world where everything's been arranged, I take on the cross of "certainly" doing Without breaking down the reality that I've cried all alone Please hear out this last request of mine, self It's fine if you get torn open, 'cause everyone spills out all the same In the sink, the lemonade Got spilled out

thanks for this, and now that you mention it, i was also wondering, couldn’t the lemonade be blood? at first when he “spilled the lemonade in the sink” which could’ve been a suicide attempt, his eyes reopened and his face was everywhere ; the news, maybe ? or the insatisfaction of looking at yourself again when you thought you’d never see your own face again ? also thanks for the translation

His hair is so freaking bright, in the lighting it looks like it’s literally glowing. It looks so freaking soft, I wanna ruffle it so bad.
English Translation: Caffeine - Kiro Akiyama I recognize the wistful scent too much That I can't remember How many times I've cowered away Down the drain went the insides of my heart When I close and open my eyes The next night after I spilled lemonade down the sink Is creeping up to my side Those feelings that never come true Drop the knob to the bathroom And are still yelling about these days I've acquainted solitude Hear me out, my last plea Ten seconds is enough, tell me about myself The wistful scent suffocated me That I can't remember How many times I've died alone On the pillow collapsed the lights of my heart I concealed this illness for too long That it can't be drowned out With the innocence of children's laughter Distortions embraced that happiness from behind The night I should've let The lemonade run down the sink A piercing pain as if it's laughing at my empty self My eyes turn cold The world with everything in order Threw a cloth over "definiteness" The reality that I cried alone wasn't insane* Hear me out, my last plea You can cut me open, so Let everyone have the same thing flow* I spilled lemonade Down the sink The words were pretty ambiguous sooo yeah and lines with asterisks are ones I'm not confident with, so if you have any suggestions/corrections please let me know!! Thank you!

Mate, your translation is perfect! Reading other translations below makes me really confused, they use google translation so it much wrong and confusing. They kept translating the second line Oboete inai kurai ni ha, into something that "Throne don't recall" ?? Just by seeing you translate from the second line onwards I know that you have translated it correctly. Thank you, you such an angel!
