Ive been using this paired with Kickninja. Been getting pretty solid results.

it does work good with sine wavey, clean "909" type of kicks, very basic, as long as you put some type of distorted/high bpm kick, let's say a schranz kick, it still gives you a clean siney wave type of kick, this could be useful for some genres of techno, but "hard" kicks are still impossible to replicate we will see if kickninja or kick 3 deliver some closer approach, but i think it's gonna be hard to replicate kicks with ton of bass and harmonics still interesting plugin of course

I agree. It's quite basic, it is still in development stage though. From what I've seen Kickninja and Kick 3 are more advanced plugins with much more options. On their website they have examples of kick drums isolated from more bassy, distorted tracks and it sounds good, but I will have to further test it myself. Hey, I'm developing drumclone and you are right, those kicks are harder to separate, even we/humans require more song context to reliably identify if that harmonic layer is part of the percussion or not. (And sometimes worse when there is a big time difference from transient to tail due to exaggerated side chain). will try to improve it for this use-case :)

Check our Kick 3 or Kick Ninja. Both have AI to recreate imported Kicks.

@@raredsp Hey! Thanks for the comment and good job on the plugin. To be honest I don't even care that much if the result is close to the original as long as it sounds good and in my opinion all the kicks that i extracted while testing the plugin sounds nice and I can use them in my work :)

logic only support AU Plugins. Try Kick 3, or audija Kickdrum it has this feature build in but it cost some money

It will stay free forever but I will probably release some more advanced "paid" features when I get time to work on them, next updates will focus on stability( got a good list of bug reports already)
