I like the first design because I can slot in a card. But mine is a square cube box. Is there a way to wrap the same way for a square cube box. Thank you

My understanding is none of this math changes for size and shape of the box. You want one short side covering the "top" by 1/3 of the box and up 2/3 of the front. Then you want your long side able to go around the box fully this says you want 2 inches larger I'm not convinced that is needed. The wider your long side is going to change the size of the pleats and maybe cause that excess they cut off. Ideally you'd find the proportion to reduce waste but I haven't found a guide yet that does so.

Problem with style 2 is you need the right paper. Will not work with paper printed on one side, the back side of the paper will show up

It also plays to an advantage if you have a cool design also on the inside of said wrapping paper, I ended up getting this jet black with subtle sparkles or glitter looking almost and on the inside is silver gray, it looks so cool, the contrast is a very nice touch
