I like to imagine that another Sith like Dooku would absolutely hate Qimir and how he approaches combat. Dooku may disagree with the Jedi on a lot of things, but there’s at least one thing about them that he agrees should be followed by the book and that’s dueling. He thinks a true swordsman would win through superior technique instead of cheap tricks. Qimir is the exact antithesis of that, where he follows no rules and has no rhyme or reason to his form which seems to be mostly freestyle. Ironically that’s how a real Sith would approach combat since they wouldn’t care about fighting fairly.

@@MFKEdits_ Ironically enough it would come back to bite him in the ass since one of Dooku’s weaknesses is that for all his studies and understanding of lightsaber techniques, his “by the book” perspective would leave him somewhat vulnerable to that one of those rare instances where one of his opponents is purely unpredictable and lacks consistency. It’s one of the reasons characters like Quinlan Vos defeated him because like Qimir, Vos didn’t follow the traditional rules of combat and lacked any consistency Dooku could pick up on.

Qimir is everything Kylo Ren/Ben Solo could have been. He has such a presence and has a sly, devious wit unseen in previous Sith/Dark Lord characters. You can actually imagine this is what a street smart guy (like Han Solo or his son) turned into a Sith would act like.
