Why didn't I know this recipe before! It's too easy to make fluffiest butter bread! Everyone loves
🍞Ingredients
1.Dough
1 piece Egg(50g+-)
3 tablespoon (38g ) Sugar
0.45 cups(110ml ) Lukewarm milk /fresh milk
1 teaspoon (3g) Instant or dried yeast
1.7 cups (250g) Bread flour/plain flour/all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon (3g) Salt
2 tablespoon (28g) Unsalted butter
2.filling
Unsalted butter
3. Top
Egg wash
pan size: 20cm
Preheat the Oven at 170°C (340°F) bake for 25 minutes

The first time we made this we didn't use enough butter between the layers and we baked it a little too long. I just made it again, using more butter between the layers and cooking it a bit less. I also used buttermilk instead of milk. I liked this second loaf even better than the first one! Thanks for posting your video and recipe!

In my case I used too much butter between the layers and could not do the braid. It got messy TwT

I had to tweak the measurements but it cooked thoroughly, quickly, tasted sweet, and delicious. My braiding wasn't perfect but still good. I spread mango jam instead of butter at the end. Very easy recipe. Thank you for sharing!

Can I ask how you tweaked it? My first instinct watching this was to put cocoa in the butter, but mango jam sounds much better.

I made this 2 days ago, and I’m making it again today! It’s super soft, delicious, and buttery! Thank you so much for sharing this recipe, it’s easier than it looks! The folding part is simple; I thought I would struggle, but I didn’t! I made mine differently - I first time I made it, I added the egg, sugar, salt, yeast, milk, and the unsalted butter first.. I melted the butter in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, then I added the bread flour and began to mix, knead, then left it to rise for 1 hour.. This time - today - I first added the salt, sugar, yeast, and flour, and mixed it all in thoroughly.. Then, I added the egg, milk, and unsalted butter that I melted again in the microwave, and then I mixed, kneaded, and left to proof for 1 hour! I found this method to work nicely and quickly!

THANKYOU SOOO MUCH!!! THIS IS SOOOO COOOL!!! I'm using cinnamonroll coffee cake ingredients between every layer, as well!!! Then top with heavy cream, vanilla, butter, tiny bit of crm cheese maybe a tad o rum granulated pure sugar and a bit o brown sugar(after powdered well, try to powder with some of the brown sugar using then add everything else to desired consistency!!! HEAVY CREAM IS THE TRICK TO BESTEST ICING!!!) in blender to make own powdered sugar

we have made it and it came out GLORIOUS and extremely delicious. The only regret is not to have made two at the same time, because we finished it so quickly and were left wanting MORE!!!

I just made this for the 1st time and I will definitely make it again. I think I may make some changes. I think some orange zest in the dough and an orange marmalade glaze when it comes out. I had to add more flour and knead it longer than I thought. Also, after stacking the buttered layers I ran my rolling pin over the layers to stretch it a bit before cutting. But over all this is a simple recipe and any moderate cook should be able to handle this.

Just a tip I learned, when your bread is done baking allow it to completely cool before cutting into it otherwise you will get a gummy texture instead of a soft fluffy texture. I know it's hard to resist the urge to cut a fresh loaf and have a slice with butter but trust me it makes a huge difference. 😊

I agree with you about Cinamoon /Sugar but with Nutella I'm not sure, Nutella is going to get dried when you baked it. (although I confess I'm a Nutella lover 😋)

Stretch a piece of dough and if you can see light without tearing - it’s right. I believe it’s called the window pane test

It’s unsalted butter. I don’t believe there was any brand name. I assume you could use a hand or stand up mixer. I know I will. I don’t understand why they don’t read our comments and reply. You asked the questions five months ago. This video just popped in my box today
