We have 10 qari : From Madina : Nâfi3 and Abu ja3far From Mecca : Ibn Kathir From kufa : Hamza, Khalaf, Al Kisa'i, 3aSim. From Cham : Ibn 3amir From Bassra : Ya3qub Al Hadrami, Abu 3amr. Each Qari had many students and 2 of them who reported the lecture, that we called rawi (so 20 riwayat and 10 qiraat). But Sometimes there is significant difference between the students of the same teacher, Idriss and Ishâq who learned with Khalaf for example or Warch and Qalun who learned with Nâfi3. Qiroat yang berbeda dengan mayoritas Indonesia. Shod dibaca z, suara aa dengan ya tak berbaris bukan dibaca ay tapi iy, maaliki dibaca maliki, him dubaca hum. Padahal tulisan yang dibaca sama, tapi zaman dahulu tanpa baris dan titik. Salah satu dari 7 qiroat, yang banyak di afrika. Subhanallah.
