I see the quilt kits include the patterns and the rulers which I already have, Could there be a quilt kit with just the fabric needed?
@QuiltingInTheValley3 ай бұрын
Yes….we have fabric only kits! Call us at 815-410-5068 to get one in either size!

I'm a confident beginner quilter. I wanted to make the runner before attempting the big quilt. Have I bit off more than I can chew?
@QuiltingInTheValley7 ай бұрын
This one is more for a medium/moderately skilled quilter. Are you like most folks and you are being modest about what you can do? If so…you’re fine. If you e worked with bias and sharp angles before, then you can do this!

Is there a tutorial for Block 6?
@QuiltingInTheValley25 күн бұрын
We just did the main block for this quilt. All the other blocks use the exact same techniques.

Two things to check: is the cutting 100% accurate/are you sewing the correct side of the triangle. If both of those are correct, give me more detail as to what is causing the issue

So I am a day late and a dollar short to the party!....😥 I am wondering if you have a list of the NEW fabrics that you used... since the original fabrics for the Taos are discontinued. I am completely colorblind, so any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
@QuiltingInTheValley Жыл бұрын
Hey David! They were actually gone when we did this video…..so we ordered a bunch of fabric in different prints, but the same colors to make kits. We have them at quiltinginthevalley.com/?s=Taos&post_type=product&dgwt_wcas=1

What is the name of the sewing machine table that your Bernina sits down in flush?
@QuiltingInTheValley2 жыл бұрын
I’m using an Americana Betsy table. Made in the USA, hydraulic lift, good storage, dove tailed joints in the soft close drawers! And they deliver to your house in 2-3 weeks with white glove delivery! Call us for more info: 815-410-5068!

It would be very helpful for you to actually show in a close up where you are placing the triangles to sew together. I'm having a heck of a time getting them to work out!

@@QuiltingInTheValley I wish she would show the correct way to press the seams. Do you press them away from each other or all to one side
@QuiltingInTheValley3 жыл бұрын
Your pattern gives the following for directions: if you are sewing a diamond block to a square, press seams to the diamond. If sewing a diamond to a diamond, press seams the way you want them to lay.” When piecing the diamonds, I pressed to the dark.

on the diamonds why not just turn the fabric upside down???? then you could use the ruler properly
