This routine is one of the best uneven bars routine of all time … I love both Qiu and Kaylia. I love how everything connects in Kaylia’s routine it is so satisfying and impressive but Qiu’s individual skills, turns, and execution just take her to another level in my opinion… Those Chinese coaches are experts at mastering the code of points, especially in uneven bars and balance beam … I do think Sunisa Lee is one to watch out for as well though! She’s coming in with a vendetta

Nemour has been attempting a 7.2 routine but so far has only been credited 7.0 as the judges are downgrading the 1/2 turn on her Derwael-Fenton release. If both hit their routines in Paris, I think Qiu will come out on top. Also, in-bar to piked Tkatchev is in the code but not named, looks like it will be the "Qiu".

Kaylia Nemour doesn't have a 7.2 routine. Her Derwael-Fenton has not, should not, and will not ever be credited the way she is performing it. It doesn't seem like she intends to fix it which is fine since her 7.0 routine is more than good enough to challenge.

I doubt she'll ever do that tho. Her Van Leuuwen is already perfection and the bonus connection is not worth the risk of possible deductions from not having enough power. Plus she's very short, and needs a lot of travel time from one bar to the other, which makes the skill connected a massive risk of a fall if she doesn't have enough power to get to the highbar

This may be personal but I like her routine better than Kaylia's cuz Kaylia's all connected so she relies on CV a lot.. We should copy men's gymnastics in floor they have cap for the CV so gymnasts keep pushing for new and better skills instead of relying on connection
