Truth be told the Rookie Lineup can get pretty nasty with their bonus of 8 SPD and 7 DEF. I finally got my Rookie lineup to 80 overall and they are killing Live Events, H2Hs and Seasons. I wonder how much more powerful that lineup can get when you get those elites. I love that Rookie lineup!

Once the Rookie Event ends, the Rookie lineup will be gone, but your can still use your Rookie players in their respective normal lineups. As for Rookie Master Ben Simmons, if you look at his set info, there isn't any "No Auction" mention, so going by that, he should be auction-able.
