That was my first ever state of origin I have watched. I was 10 that time and I supported NSW . I also bet for Blues too. Today I am 40 and still a huge fan of NSW!

Thanks for uploading. Just watched 1994 games 1,2 and 3 with genuinely no idea about the results. I wanted big Mal to go out on a high! Great games, monster players, excellent commentary and if someone still has one of the physio's light blue shell suits with XXXX on the back, I'll buy it off you. Huge respect from the North of England!

Big Mal did go out on a BIG high. The Raiders won the premiership that year.

Harrigan was the best ref. He always let the game flow. Never picked on little errors as penalties.

Always loved how Qld got to use their own yellow Qld ball when playing at home. Greatest era of Origin, Greatest players. No major sponsors on the sacred jerseys were allowed, just on the sleeves. Rugby League at its most Purist.

That was an incredibly good Blues side, to be able to beat QLD with Langer, Meninga, Renouf...etc A truly great origin side. No BS too like you see today. No constant smack talking and verbal crap. Just good, hard, quality NRL. The best era for sure.

I remember this game being Big Mal's last origin. I love Mal Meninga .Big Mal's career was miraculous . But Im a NSW fan and Benny Elias also playing in his last origin spoiled the show
