And try to really notice how there's actual mixing and transitions going on between tracks. You, the listener get to truly experience whole tracks, and the rush and anticipation that comes when a transition is being made. That does not exist today for some reason that Q-Dance hasn't provided an explanation for. Sets today are crap compared to this.

Here I am listening this set in new years eve. Year 2021 changed 4 hours ago in my region. I have always liked this set a lot. Watched many times. Listened dozen times. Dispite the amount of previous times I only now for the first time understood that this isn’t only a great set. This is above great set. Like one of the bestest sets ever. It actually isn’t a ”set” for me. That’s understatement. This is journey, atmosphere, some bigger feeling. Oh my. Getting a bit emotional and nostalgic. I wish some kind of Qlimax (or other) event around 2000-2010 music will be held some day. I will 100% travel to NL for maybe the last time (bc of music) and close this live hardstyle chapter in my life. 2013 was my last event abroad.

Went to my first rave in 2016, and showtek just so happened to be there. I didn't know who they were but their name stuck out to me, so as soon as I got home I looked them up and found all of their old music. I started exploring their music more and more and stumbled upon Tuneboy's name. This set was the very first thing I ever heard from him. He sealed the deal for me, hardstyle has been my favorite genre ever since. Always thought it was awesome that I got familiar with a lot of older hardstyle djs before exploring the newer hardstyle djs :)

Me pergunto como essas melodias magníficas deram lugar a apenas kicks. Já falei para algumas pessoas e repito, tenho receio de me tornar a pessoa chata que vive do passado, mas eis a questão, eu conheci o hardstyle de verdade por volta de 2017. Quando ouço as tracks mais antigas sinto como se tivesse vivido a época, mas não, é só a essência do hardstyle que tá em cada música. Concorde você ou não, a cena atual do hard dance se resume a kicks. Sim, curto muitas tracks atuais, mas sempre volto ao oldscool. Em fim, ao menos o hardstyle atualmente está se tornando mais visível no mundo.

I truly believe this is the best Qlimax set there ever was. Many close seconds, but the mixing and track selection of this set is incomparable. I have seen Tuneboy play a small classics set, he played some of these track. The man can 100% take over a tired crowd and make them dance their socks off.
