Ik denk dat Q-Dance failliet is of in die trans of Q-Dance gaat compleet van naam veranderen en uit eindelijk met een heel nieuw concept aan gaat komen, daarvoor moeten alle festival van nu eruit. Defqon gaat volgend jaar eruit (gerucht die ronde gaat) Niemand weet wat er met Q-Dance aan de hand is. In iedere geval valt het ook op dat de dj's tegenwoordig geen hardstyle meer maken zo hoe wij dit gekend hebben, Net als Hardhouse.. Qlimax begon met Hardhouse. Moet je kijken wat voor herrie wij nu hebben bij Qlimax. Qlimax staat eigenlijk bekend als Hardhouse festival, die eigenlijk in 2010 eruit had moeten gaan toen Hardstyle in kwam. Qlimax werd een succes door de Hardhouse beats.. hoor je nu ook 20 jaar niet meer. Zou zo graag nog een keer naar een Hardhouse festival willen met de echte Hardhouse beats, en zieke soundseffect. Tegenwoordig heet het Early Hardstyle voor de nieuwe generatie. De Hardhouse zo hoe wij die kennen heet tegenwoordig Psy-Techno (dat is de nieuwe hardhouse voor onze benaming) Wel zieke sounds. Vind het knap dat Qlimax zo lang heeft volgehouden, snap alleen niet de oneven getallen.. waarom niet de final naar 25 jaar, in plaats 24 jaar. Q-Base naar 14 jaar gestopt.. Waarom niet naar 15 jaar. staat toch veel mooier.. Hardstyle is allemaal vervangen met die irritante piepkicks uit hardcore. Alles wordt Rawstyle hardcore, uptempo, terror met die piepkicks erin etc, precies de genre waar ik niet van houd. Valt wel op dat alle Hardstyle festivals als eerste eruit gaan omdat Hardstyle gewoonweg te oud is en tegenwoordig op festivals Hardstyle overgeslagen wordt en gelijk beginnen met Rawstyle. Dat past niet meer in het content van het festival. Vorig jaar bij Qlimax uptempo op het einde, dan denk ik.. Qlimax heeft nooit hardcore en uptempo gedraaid alleen hardstyle. Waarom moet bij elke festival deze klere herrie komen. Wij betalen om Hardstyle te horen en geen hardcore. Zij gaan toch ook geen Hardstyle draaien bij masters of hardcore. Dus zoverre het er naar uitziet gaan alle festivals weg en zal Q-Dance met iets anders komen of een vervanger what ever. In iedere geval gaat de meeste mensen hier niet mee eens zijn. Ik ga al zins 2018 niet meer naar Q-Dance festivals. Boycot ze, geef geen cent meer uit. Q-Base is mijn favo nr 1 ben ermee geboren accessoires. Waarom mogen mensen wel van hun favo festival genieten en wij niet? vind ik niet eerlijk. Voor mij geen Q-dance meer. Hoop dat Q-Dance een flinke Karma krijgt dat de fans gaan protesteren. Er is 1 ding wat ik nooit zal begrijpen. Waarom een stekker eruit trekken bij festivals die zo'n succesvol zijn en altijd uitverkocht zijn? Dan zou je denken, zolang alles uitverkocht is ga je gewoon door.. Snap dat echt niet

You could see in the past years it just isn't what it's used to be and they got lazy on multiple occasions. I know it's a long running series, but both concepts have been going through multiple phases of change, not for the better imo. There will be a follow up, i don't mean we have to forget this. It was fun while it lasted, but i'm down for something different.

Defqon was sold a week before defqon 2024 even started i think it was the mother company from ID&T. Its no longer a q dance event. Thats why there was no: thiz was a qdance event.. Almost every musical festival is from the head company. And splitz into (second) companys. Its Just smart.

First attended in 2008, I was 17, since then, every year - this is the one and only hardstyle Event I have been attending recurrently. Qlimax has become a tradition, a cult for me, traveling to Arnhem every year to live the moment connected to 35’000 souls. A way to reset, recharge and prepare for the upcoming year. Vind dat zo'n kut herrie he.. Het probleem ligt bij de dj's. Kijk maar naar Defqon een en al random geworden en draaien elke keer de zelfde tracks. Heb serieus nog geen track gehoord die ik niet kende maar al kende van de jaren ervoor, ze draaien elke keer opnieuw de oude meuk en doen ze alleen een extra deuntje bij en voila, en waarom. omdat die dj's niks nieuws meer maken betreft hardstyle. moet allemaal hardcore en uptempo worden. mensen worden agressiever dus de muziek ook. Qlimax is allang geen Qlimax meer, is alleen de naam. De beste Qlimax hoogte punt was 2015. Equilibrium. Dat was de laatste beste hardstyle qlimax. alles wat ernaar kwam was piepkick's. Hardstyle is gewoon dood. En als de dj's geen hardstyle meer maken zo hoe wij dat kennen stopt zo'n event omdat de nieuwe muziek genre er niet in thuis hoort. Je kunt geen uptempo draaien op een hardstyle event en dat doen ze wel en dat verkoopt steeds minder tot helemaal niet. De schuld ligt bij de dj's. apen elkaar alleen maar naar. En uiteindelijk luister je op elke festival naar de zelfde shit. Of je nou naar defqon gaat of Qlimax. altijd de zelfde dj's en zelfde tracks allemaal het zelfde. Vroeger bv Hadden elke festival andere dj's waardoor je keuzes maken kon wat jou favoriete festival was. Wat bij Qlimax kwam zag je nergens anders, daarom ging je speciaal naar Qlimax, Wat bij Defqon draaide kwam toen niet bij Q-Base totaal andere dj's . Tegenwoordig zijn alle festival het zelfde. op elke festival noisecontrollers, peacock, sefa , miss k8 elk festival kom je ze tegen met de zelfde playlist. dat maakt de festivals niet meer indrukwekkend zoals vroeger het wel was. Toen ging je speciaal voor noem ff wat Zany en Promo naar Qlimax omdat je zany en promo niet bij Q-Base tegen kwam.. Maar nu is elk festoval het zelfde alleen de naam is anders en is absoluut niets speciaals meer aan. Ga je naar Defqon ben je gelijk bij alle festival van het jaar al geweest. Wat bij Qlimax komt aan dj's die waren al bij defqon en de playlist herhaald zich weer. Goed dan gaan ze bij deze Qlimax de highlights van 24 jaar draaien dus ook de echte hardstyle van toen. maar dat is voor kort want uiteindelijk is het 3 kwart weer hardcore en eindigd weer met uptempo, heel voorspelbaar dit hoe het afloopt. Ze moeten gewoon nieuwe hardstyle dj's zoeken dan elke keer de zelfde dj's

The Legacy of Qlimax will simplx never be matched. It completely revolutionised the entire medium it was set around when it first came. Without Qlimax we wouldn't have had Defqon.1 or any of the big hardstyle festivals. Qlimax kickstarted the snowball of Hardstyle's popularity. It's the reason why Hardstyle lives on and didn't die like so many other EDM genres, and thanks to this, sp much joy was brought to so many people. We shouldn't be sad because it's over, but happy because it happened! So long, Qlimax! 🧡

This is the worst business decision by a company ever. The effort that was put into the stages started dropping in 2019 when the stage was pretty basic, all the attention that year was put into the 20 years of Q Dance event. People stopped attending after that because they want the transforming stages. Reverze was putting in more effort. This could have been saved, more effort put in to get the crowds back, and then the 25th Qlimax would have been legendary. Q Dance really shooting themselves in the foot with this one, and has left a bad taste in my mouth. I have been going to Q Dance events since 2006 however I will not be attending any more. This decision is beyond ridiculous. Qlimax has always been the pinnacle of Hardstyle events and the event that all up and coming producers aspire to one day perform at. Hardstyle is now officially dead, thanks to the new "knee slappy" music. A sad day indeed.

no words, i know that nothing is forever, but i think that this decision show the falling of a movement that will only live with our generation that lived 2003/2012 era of hardstyle. i'm honest and i really miss the "dutch management" of qdance. same was for hardbass, that still today has probably the most powerful concept of indoor events ever. withouth those 2 events, we lose the fuel to bring again that feelings that only real hardstyle brought to us, and grew up our army. i hope for a bright future of remember big indoor events, i hope to see again an organization prioritizing the good narrative in a similar way to the past, with new touch. i just want to be part of the management to bring back those key element, but i'm not the one that can do it :D thanks qlimax thanks qdance for everything, i hope that this last edition will honour all the big names and music that allowed qlimax to be the number 1 hard dance event if not global event of the world + the event that forged our movement all in one

It's sad to say, but hardstyle is on life support. I have been following the hardstyle scene since the beginning (I'm 38 years old) All the biggest hardstyle producers quit producing, record labels like Fusion Records is barely alive, Hard bass is gone...and soon Qlimax will be gone etc etc, Yes we do have new music, but the excitement for new innovative tracks is gone. When i listen to new trakcs i say "It's alright", and when i listen to 2009 Fusion/SuperPlastik i say "Damn thats phat". It feels like the producers got bored or ran out of ideas.
