finally someone who has the courtesy to give those who cannot afford to stay in this suite an insight

I'm going to be traveling in the VERY SAME suite next week!!! Thanks for the tour, I know this was way before the most recent refit, but the same general layout and amenities are present. I'm so excited now! Save for the fog horn....and it'll be Maritime Canada, Quebec, and New England, so LOTS of fog....ugh...

Two totally different experiences. A cruise ship no matter how nice a suite, your dealing with kids, lines and that "cattle" feeling. A suite makes it bearable though. On something like the QM2 its elegance, grace, refinement and that feeling that its just super special, which of course it is since there is nothing else like it.

Oh Dear! Imagine having to sleep beneath the FOG HORN!! That's some trade-off.
@NoName-bo6kh6 жыл бұрын
Mrphilharmonic they probably have something in the walls and roof to keep it quiet.

Thank you for sharing. You would have thought that the TV would have been replaced with a Flat screen by now.
@VickyRBenson4 жыл бұрын
goutvols103, this was posted ten years ago. It was all refitted in 2016, so likely it has a flat screen TV now. 😊

The thing I love about this suite is the lack of balcony. I don't like balcony cabins and it is refreshing to have a suite option without a balcony.

Thank you for this! I've been waiting for somebody to do a video of this certain category.

It's amusing that so many KZbinrs call the bathroom label it as the 'guests'. As if the residents don't use it as their main bathroom during most of the day if they are using the living area.

gshunw Those ships, Allure and Oasis of the Seas, aren't built for regular North Atlantic crossings. They aren't pure bred ocean liners, but they are Las Vegas on barges.

Oh.... My.... God! This suite is just gorgeous! I love it!

Yes, I have. The only thing that I don't like about the Oasis class is the radical superstructure. That's not to say that it isn't cool or interesting, but (in my opinion), it takes away from the cruise ship feeling that I love. With that said, I think the Freedom and Explorer classes are fantastic.

I stayed in the Q1 suite on the Queen Mary 2. The cost was $57,000 for seven days, but it was worth every penny!

LOL they make it a bigger deal than it is, trying to see where the luxury is but it doesn't appear to have any !

@nickelfilling1 i havent seen a video of this suite tho before maybe im searching wrong i know there lots of the princess and queens suites but this catagory Q3 seems to be a rare video to come across

This suite is located at the forward end of the superstructure, directly under the bridge. There can't be a balcony there. This suite is for people who don't necessarily require a balcony.

Have you seen the suites on the Allure and Oasis? They are like lofts, two stories, floor to ceiling windows a full kitchen and a baby grand piano. I wish I could afford it... I agree with you there are people who will enjoy that the QM2 suite is more understated and refined and honestly if I was given the opportunity to stay in the QM2 suite I would jump at it in a heartbeat! :)

One thing about that suite. If a super wave hit the ship, you'd be the first to know it!
@awsome04123411 жыл бұрын
he doesnt have a balcony because of his location he is on the front of the ship no balconies have ever been there!
@keytothegate687 жыл бұрын
About the balcony here- someone posted a comment that you do have a balcony to the side that this suite can use
@AtlanticaPhoenix12 жыл бұрын
It's not that they're nicer, they're just different. To be frank, they're designed for two different kinds of people (that's not to say that one person couldn't enjoy both. I certainly would).

And the kitchen facilities? I don't see any. Odd

@trentos10 I know right! It's $12,000K for 7 days transalantic crossing per person. For seven days it's not that bad for wealthy people but no one actually spends that much time in their rooms anyways. so it'll be a waste.

@Lateboomer059 I am happy you received the cruise of a lifetime and I am happy that you have KZbin to brag about it but who are you and why are you telling me what I can and cannot comment on?

Very very inconveniënt for a "Royal suite" it's more like a coridor with furniture and a bedroom.... QE would not be happy in that room...i guess
