Yes! I actually watched more compilation videos of them before watching loads of MVs when I started my journey, I learnt about them and their personalities and that really helped to identify each one. It’s funny when you can spot who it is just by their hands now but when you start it’s all so confusing 😁

@@DarkWing494 I had a hard time telling Suga and Jimin apart at first. Then I was getting Suga confused with j-hope, briefly had problems between V and Jin. The two I always could pick out immediately was JK & RM. I was a mess the first few days after discovering them, but now it’s so easy and I can’t believe I ever mixed them up. I’m the sort of person that regardless of a group’s race, it takes me a little bit of time to match the face with the name, it doesn’t just happen with Asians. But I do hear people say “they all look alike!” but they really don’t, not once you become acquainted by their facial features.

1. Festa is usually a 2 week long celebration of a BTS anniversary that ends on their actual debut day 13th of June, each day of the celebration ARMYs get fed with a lot of different content from Bighit/BTS 2. BangtanTV is their youtube channel where even predebut they uploaded logs, covers... and after they debuted they started uploading 'Bangtan bombs' which were short clips of the members behind the scenes. And then they upload longer 'Episodes' which usually covers an event. So for example we are eventually gonna get a 'Grammy 2022 Episode' where are gonna see them travel, practice, get ready for the carpet, them at the show, them after the show.. basically the whole thing. And maybe a 'Bangtan bomb' of just members eating the snacks backstage at the Grammy or something hahaha. Back in the day kpop groups didnt have their own youtube channels, or vlogs, or behind the scene clips. The only content you got was a music video on their company channel and a tv show on actual tv channel. But because BTS couldn't get on tv because they didnt have the money or the media connections they just did blogs and posted on KZbin and other social media. And this is how now basically all kpop groups have their own KZbin channel with a lot of behind the scene contents. (If you check on twitter you are gonna see a lot of kpop groups only made their Twitter accounts in 2017 after BTS won Billboard award for top social artist. Because even then BTS were huge on twitter because they have been using it even before they debuted in 2013 to comunicate with fans) 3. Like you googled yes BT in BTS stands for Bangtan which means 'bulletproof' which is why their old logo was a bulletproof jacket. A lot of people simply call them Bangtan, the members themselfs often just calls themselfs Bangtan. 4. Like I said BTS were doing social media before anyone else in kpop because they just didnt have any other way to connect with fans without involving media outlets which costs money. They did 'radio' shows on youtube, Suga even reviewed their albums and music equitment, games. Vlive the most popular kpop live streaming service only started existing in 2015 and BTS were the promo face for it and did promotion for it. And that is how they started RUN BTS which is their own game show because again: they couldnt really get into actual game shows, and whenever they could get into the shows they were usually treated badly by the hosts so they just made their own show. Which is again how now almost all groups have their own shows. 4. Back to Festa. Festa evolves each year. But usually we get special photoshoots, special dance practice, special covers, and even new free music. For example one of the most popular and hype BTS song called 'Daengg' was released on soundcloud as a gift for the anniversary. At the end we used to get a 'radio' show where the members talked about their year and their future and just celebrated, nowdays it is more of a 'dinner' and more casual thing. And of course it usually also ends with a special Muster concert where BTS perform their really old songs, and songs they have never performed before and probably never will again. So again... it is just really special time of the year for ARMY. This specific video was just one of the things that was dropped during those two weeks of 2021 BTS Festa and it is a medly of BTS bside songs which we often don't hear anymore performed live (except for Save me hahahah and Outro:Wings used to be their outro song for their concerts and wow it brought back so many memories) 5. Jin - sparkly light green mic (usually has a pink or even completly white mic) Suga - you got him right 🥳! He usually has black mic Jhope - 🥳 lately mostly a red mic RM - 🥳 a blue or silver mic V - deep green mic, so far he never switched his mic or added gems like other members sometimes do Jimin - 🥳 gold mic Jungkook - purple mic, he got tattoos a while ago, while they are mostly covered by the clothes, you can usually recognise him by A.R.M.Y on his knucles on his hand

With the amount of music they have produced over the past 10 years discovering bts is like trying to find every existing entity within the universe! I'm smiling when you're trying to guess Jin, V & JK. When they're younger a lot of people get confused between them. First tip, dont rely on their hair colors they change it often (esp whenever they have their comeback). The best way is thru their voice since you're a singer I guess it will be easier for you to recognize their voices since the vocal lines have very colorful tones. Jin (tenor) - he sings mainly with his chest voice, his voice sounds heavy but very bright. He do falsetto but a bit lighter for some parts of their songs but mainly it is a heavier falsetto --- Silver Voicalist. Taehyung/V (baritone) - husky, deep, thick, warm and soulful is how I can describes V's voice. He tends to sing in softer voice but once needed his voice is powerful too. JK (tenor) - since I noticed u amazed by those runs in this clips, those are mostly is JK. His voice is light and bright. He has a very smooth and mellow timbre. His technicality & choices will always amazed u. Jimin (Counter Tenor) - tho u can distinguish him I still include him here being part of the vocal line. He has very unique color in his voice and is so captivating. He uses vocal fry often. How majestic he is that is how his voice sounds like. P.S. They all have wide range which makes them even more amazing as a singer

My pet theory is they give BTS such complex choreography is they climb the furniture without it and spaz out chaotically like here. Love FESTA. This medley is a b-side song from each year, even their early songs and bsides slap. Ugh is a huge favorite rapline only song and one of the few with so many cultural references we recommend watching the DkdkTV explanation video afterwards. Watch a lyric video ad there is no MV.

Festa is their yearly one week celebration of their debut, they always make something special for their fans around the week of the 13th June every year. They usually talk and reminiscence about the past year and also what will be in store next. It is basically watching the boys getting sloshed (though last year they did the mini concert) while doing karaoke or playing silly games.

I'm sure you've hit on this answer by now, but if you haven't: Their name (in korean) is 방탄소년단, which gets romanized as "Bangtan Sonyeondan". This is where "BTS" comes from. Their official music videos are on their label's youtube channel (HYBE) but BangtanTV is a channel exclusively for BTS that posts "extra" content. Behind the scenes takes, making-of videos, and sometimes they even have special performances or music videos (the artists will do covers or share original music as gifts to ARMY rather than a marketed/promoted/commercial release) that are released on BangtanTV rather than the label's youtube. (This performance is one of their "Festa" specials, which is period they celebrate the anniversary of their group's debut!)

It's so rare to see a vocal harmonization in rap verse, isn't it? Well, you gotta see it a lot in BTS, because Jungkook really loves to do that 😁 You should watch more live performances of BTS, they mostly do the adlibs and harmonizing live, it's Jungkook's favorite and speciality, he can do both in vocal verse or rap verse. Ahaha, don't worry, you're not alone! I've seen many ARMY report that they had trouble telling Jin, V, and Jungkook apart in the beginning. Here are some tips: 1. Visually, Jin has a bit of a longer face with thick lips, V's face is wider, and Jungkook's is rounder. 2. Vocally, Jin sounds more nasally than the other two, V's tone is deeper and rounder, and Jungkook is so clear and precise. 3. Microphones! Jin's is always sparkly, usually pink but sometimes white or light green like he has here, V has green like his shirt or more recently a sage/greenish-gray, and Jungkook's is always purple 💜 Hope that helps! I think I had them learned off by heart in a week, though I still wasn’t completely familiar by their voices. The one with brown hair is Jin, the one with the green shirt is V, the one with purple hair is Jungkook. Try to recognize them by their tone of voice, Jin has a high tone of voice just like Jimin, V has a deep tone of voice, little by little you will get to know them.

Someone probably already said they used to be called Bangtan Seoyondan (I’ve probably spelt that wrong). There’s a wonderful live version of a song called “Dimple” featuring the vocal line which is followed by “Pied Piper with the whole group. The first song is self explanatory on watching . The latter is chastising the fans for being distracted by them too much in their real lives whilst giving them more reasons why they can’t stop! Great performance. I think the more you watch them you’ll recognise them. V wearing green here, usually has a dark green microphone and is a bit eccentric so will often be doiing something off the wall or here announcing things dramatically. He is a baritone but vocal range is quite wide , as in his solo song “Stigma”. Jungkook , Jimin and Jin are tenors. Jungkook usually has a purple microphone and is gifted in all sorts of ways. He’s the one likely to be doing the beautiful adlibs. Jimin is self explanatory 😉. Jin is taller (wearing the tartan jacket here)and used to use a pink microphone but now usually uses a mint green one. His voice is very powerful. “Magic Shop” live is another beloved song of ARMY as it speaks to them.
