EXO are 9 (8 Koreans, 1 Chinese). Nowadays they are on hiatus, because the mandatory military service in South Korea (3 are in the army) and the last Chinese member couldn't participate in group activities because some issues between S Korea and China. For me EXO is the best kpop group nowadays and they are considered by many as the vocal kings of their generation. Acappella is not common thing in kpop and I don't know if there are any other group to do it, but maybe I am wrong. And yes, they are more vocally directed group. If you are interested in EXO please check Call Me Baby (strong MJ vibe) or Love Me Right (small acapella part, awesome song, AWESOME). Actually the group is famous mainly with their R&B vibe, although they have some hip hop, EDM, even rock songs. Also, EXO are famous with their live stages, they have amazing stage presence. Kpop isn't really a genre. I mean exo covers almost all the genres that's why i like them. They are so versatile from balled to rock you'll find it all. The main rappers can sing and main vocalists can sing. Plus they all can dance and act and etc etc. It's like a whole package 😂

EXO has great voice. Their harmonies are no jokes, reqlly different than another Kpop group. Next, you should more reaction of EXO. I recommend you to react EXO Acoustic Medley Reaction. You can know how great voice of them in live performance. And they are almost never lypsinc when they live performance

This is an interesting choice for a first reaction to kpop. It’s not that the song is bad, but it’s not super recent and people don’t like it as much as Love Shot for some reason. It’s awesome that your first introduction to kpop was EXO, though. They’re one of the kings of kpop and have the best vocal line out of the other 3rd Gen boy groups (3rd Gen started in 2012). If you want to check out more, try Stray Kids’ recent release Back Door. It’s super hype and a lot heavier on the EDM and hip-hop genre. They’re from kpop’s fourth generation (4th Gen started in 2018).

serpico68 lmao I’m a teenage girl, but I still like Tempo way more than Love Shot because it’s more musically interesting as you said. The types of music I like are the ones that pull inspiration from various places and mesh them together into one song. It’s also kind of why I abandoned pop for kpop. Kpop does genre fusion more often than pop, so I naturally gravitated towards this kind of music.
